When we take photos of people in a professional capacity, we are almost always asked to make small facial adjustments, like whitening a subject’s teeth and softening the skin to hide wrinkles and blemishes. Such edits are commonplace throughout professional photography, but nearly impossible to make from a mobile device.
For quick facial enhancements from iPhone, the free Vicman Visage Lab app allows even those with no photo-editing experience to fix blemishes and other common imperfections in just one click.

A few months ago, we posted a tutorial titled Install Android Mobile OS on PC. With that tutorial, you can run Android on your computer via the Android SDK (software development kit). However, SDK installs are more targeted for developers, or people that are developing and creating their own Android applications.

One of our favorite apps on iPad is Flipboard. It is like a personalized magazine—the news aggregator to end all news aggregators. It keeps up with our Facebook friends, Twitter, Google Reader RSS feeds, individual RSS feeds and many other exclusive and nearly exclusive services. Its interface is clean, and recent updates have made it sync with other iOS devices running Flipboard.

Traditionally, postcards were used to let friends and family know you remembered them while on vacation. They were cheaper than a phone call, and gave the person to whom you sent them a glimpse of your adventures. In the digital era, most people post photos on Facebook instead of sending postcards, largely for convenience.
If you would still like to honor the tradition of sending postcards, but do not want all the hassle of finding a card, writing a message, finding the correct postage and then finding somewhere to mail the card, you can send a real postcard from your iPhone instead using the Postcard on the Run app.

Ten years ago, Apple announced they were releasing a product sure to revolutionize the way we listened to music: iPod. No one expected the dramatic influence the device would have on Apple, the music industry or even mobile computing.

With recent changes in iTunes, iCloud and iOS5, purchases made on one device can automatically download on all of your other iOS devices automatically—like magic.
