Kayla Dube

Since she was a child, Kayla has had a fascination with technology, video games, and filmmaking. Growing up she wrote on multiple personal blogs about these topics, enjoying the process of breaking down technical concepts. Most recently her focus has shifted to writing, and Kayla now reviews and writes technology, video editing, and gaming related articles.

Kayla is a freelance writer, creating articles relating to her wide interests in technology. She writes for Help Desk Geek, Online Tech Tips and Switching to Mac. She currently is also on the Technology Review Board at Lifewire.

Additionally, Kayla is a video editor and creator. In 2018, Kayla attended a technical school in Indianapolis to study film and animation. Here she headed multiple video projects and earned a certification in Adobe Premiere Pro. After this, Kayla worked with indie filmmaking groups both on-set taking up multiple roles, such as a cinematographer or digital imaging technician, and remotely as a video editor.

Kayla has been invested in the video game world as well since she was young. She has been collecting new and retro video games, owning over 15 consoles and hundreds of games. She ran her own sites creating guides for many of her favorite games for 4 years.

Freelance writing is her most recent endeavor, though she has written previously in 2014 for Top Secret Writers. She is now looking to share her knowledge and enthusiasm about technology-related topics and create engaging content.
