Looking for a free way to capture screen shots? Screenshots are great because it provides a graphical element that makes it quicker for other people to understand what you are trying to say or write about. The old way to take a screenshot of your desktop was to press the “Print Screen” button, open an image / picture editor, paste the captured screenshot into the program, edit the screenshot, give it a name and save it to a desired location on the hard drive.
This method is okay, but not really efficient if you are going to take a lot of screenshots. Screenshot Captor is a tool that was created to make it easier for us to capture screenshots .
Screenshot Captor is an advanced screenshot capture tool which defies the old way of taking screenshots of your computer. To take a screenshot, you just need to press the “Print Screen” button once. You can continue to take more screenshots with the same button over and over again without having to worry about the additional paste, edit and save steps.
Once you are done, you can access Screenshot Captor to find all your automatically saved screenshots and continue working on the next processes (editing, saving with a different name etc.) This way, you can capture all your screenshots first and continue with the editing process later, which is much faster than the previous way.

Hey David, thanks for the kind comment! I appreciate it very much! I always love free Windows software!
Hi Syahid,
I just came across your wonderful detailed review of Screenshot Captor.
I can’t tell you how nice it made me feel when I read it. You probably know that programs get “mentioned” often all over the web but usually it is just someone copying+pasting a description of a program.
It’s very rare and delightful when someone like you actually creates some screenshots of their own and writes their own descriptions, etc.
Anyway, THANK YOU. And i’m glad you like the program.
And please do let me know any feature requests you might have for screenshot captor!
@mouser: No problem, I really love Screenshot Captor. Really speed up my work.
Hi and thank you for your suggestions–however when I try to save the clips they either won’t open or are all black.
Please give me some suggestions.
Thanks
Patti
can you try this beta version and see if it solves your problem of black screens:

Ah, just what I was looking for. One button, hit it over and over and end up with lots of screenshots instead of losing half of them because I forgot to go paste and save.
And to think, all I had to do to find it was make 4 Google searches with different terms, limit the results to within the past year, eliminate pages with Faststone in them, and then persevere into the second page of results. If there is one thing Google sucks at, it is helping you find useful utilities.
….must find more coffee.
I known a easy way – http://desktop-screenshot.com/ . This software makes automatic screenshots of your desktop and automatically uploads it. You can then grab the embed code for forums or websites.
