More keyboard shortcuts – Windows Logo key shortcuts

Last week I wrote a post on Microsoft Word shortcuts and thought I would throw in another post on more shortcuts, this time Windows Logo key shortcuts. These can be very handy for quickly accessing system control panels or to search for files. The Windows logo key is usually on the left side of the keyboard on the bottom row.
Windows: Display the Start menu
Windows Logo + D: Minimize windows or restore all windows
Windows Logo + E: Brings up My Computer (Windows Explorer)
Windows Logo + F: Displays the in-built Search dialog
Windows Logo + Ctrl + F: Displays the Search for computer
Windows Logo + F1: Brings up the Help and Support Center
Windows Logo + R: Opens the Run dialog box
Windows Logo + break: Brings up the System Properties dialog box
Windows Logo + shift + M: Undo minimize all windows
Windows Logo + L: Locks the workstation
Windows Logo + U: Open Utility Manager (Accessibility options)
Windows Logo + Q: Quick switching of users (Powertoys only)
Windows Logo + Q: Hold Windows Key, then tap Q to scroll thru the different users on your PC
These keyboard shortcuts will work on any computer running Windows. However, other than the defaults, you can get an additional 9 shortcuts for the Windows logo key by installing the IntelliType software. With the IntelliType software, you can customize the keyboard to perform different actions such as open a program, open a web page, etc.
Windows Logo+L: Logs off of Windows (with IntelliType software installed)
Windows Logo+P: Starts the Print Manager dialog
Windows Logo+C: Opens the Control Panel
Windows Logo+V: Starts the Clipboard
Windows Logo+K: Opens Keyboard Properties dialog box
Windows Logo+I: Opens Mouse Properties dialog box
Windows Logo+A: Starts Accessibility Options (if installed)
Windows Logo+SPACEBAR: Displays the list of Microsoft IntelliType shortcut keys
Windows Logo+S: Toggles CAPS LOCK on and off
Ok so that’s enough shortcuts to learn for me! Hopefully, they’ll help you get to features and functions in Windows faster! Enjoy!

nice list..
You have missed some like
Windows Logo+U+U : fast shutdown
Windows Logo+U+H : Hibernate
Nirmal, I forgot to mention that it changes when you have the IntelliType software installed. Thanks for keeping an eye out!
Shashank, Thanks for the additions! I didn’t even know you can do that!
Thanks guys!
Any idea why Logo+ shortcuts would stop working?
Windows Logo+(Any Number) = Opens applications in the order in the quick launch toolbar next in the taskbar.
Therefore, Windows Logo+1 = Opens application right next to the Start button on the taskbar.
I hope you get the idea with this.
But…
Windows Logo+U+U : fast shutdown
Windows Logo+U+H : Hibernate
These are not working! Any solution?
