Si vous projetez sur acheter une imprimante bientôt, vous devriez considérer acheter une imprimante de réseau. Les prix sont descendus ces dernières années et maintenant que la plupart des personnes ont les réseaux sans fil, vous pouvez installer votre réseau de sorte que vous puissiez imprimer n'importe où dedans de la maison ! Il est également grand pour des invités parce qu'ils peuvent se relier à votre réseau sans fil et imprimer facilement, ainsi vous obtiendrez un bon nombre de kudos comme centre serveur !
Voici ce que vous devrez faire afin d'installer l'imprimeur sur votre réseau :
1. D'abord, reliez l'imprimante à votre réseau en reliant une extrémité d'un câble du chat 5 (qui devrait être venu avec votre imprimeur) à votre routeur :

2. Après vous devrez obtenir IP adresse de votre imprimeur. IP l'adresse est ce qui indiquera à votre ordinateur où trouver votre imprimeur sur le réseau. Tous les imprimeurs de réseau te permettent d'imprimer une feuille de configuration qui énumérera des informations de base sur l'imprimeur avec la configuration de réseau courante.
Pour la plupart des imprimeurs, ceci comporte la pression Menu boutonnez sur l'imprimeur, allant au L'information option et choix Configuration d'impression. Vous serez regarder pour TCP/IP section :
IP Adresse est de ce que vous aurez besoin pour les prochaines étapes.
3. La dernière étape est d'ajouter l'imprimeur à votre ordinateur. Cliquez sur le début, puis imprimeurs et fax.
Si vous ne voyez pas ceci dans votre menu de début, vous pouvez aller commencer, panneau de commande et puis cliquer sur des imprimeurs et des fax là. Le clic ajoutent l'imprimeur du carreau de charger du côté gauche.

Click Next and you’ll be asked to select the printer port. Since our printer is a network printer with a IP address, we need to select the Create a new port option and choose Standard TCP/IP Port.
Click Next and you’ll get another wizard to add a TCP/IP printer port. On the main wizard screen click Next. In the first text box, Printer Name or IP Address, enter the IP address from the printer configuration sheet you printer earlier.
Click Next and depending on the printer you have, you may get one more dialog before the end of the wizard. If the network card for the printer cannot be identified, the wizard will ask you to choose the card type. You can leave the default of “Generic Network Card” and click Next.
Click Next and click Finish. You will then continue on with the Add Printer wizard and you’ll need to either choose the printer from the list of manufacturers or click Have Disk and insert your printer driver cd in the computer.
Click Next and enter a name for your printer and click the Yes radio button if you would like the printer to be your default printer.
Click Next and you’ll be asked whether you want to share the printer or not. Click No because anyone else who wants to connect will be able to do so following the same steps.
Click Next and click Yes to print a test page and make sure that the computer and printer can communicate!
Click Next and then click Finish! The new printer will appear in your Printers and Faxes screen and you’re ready to print!

If I have other wired or wireless computers on this network, do I apply this same procedure on them to make this network printer avialable to them?

how do i configure an ip address for a newly bought printer
I’m using windows vista & an IBM Network 17 with an ibm 10 baseT/10Base2 ethernet card. I followed your istructions to the letter & cannot get an output. I have the unit plugged into my laptop to establish a solid connection befor trying to use it with the wireless router. Any suggestions. Mike
