Windows Vista Sidebar Gadgets

If you’ve got Vista and you’re looking to spice up the side bar with some new gadgets, check out this link to the Code Project where there is currently a competition going on sponsored by Microsoft to create the best new gadgets.
There’s a gadget to bring Dilbert comics to your desktop, one that connects to your GMail account and can display your messages directly inside the side bar, and another that creates a slide show by connecting to the weather service.

Remember, these are all Sidebar gadgets to be used in Windows Vista. There are also web gadgets that you can use with Windows Live and Slideshow gadgets that work with Slideshow enabled devices.
