Comments on: How to run software that is incompatible with Windows Vista

I have a program I use all the time that works just fine in XP. However, it will not install at all in 64 bit Vista. Since I can’t install it, there is no installed .EXE file to click and to get Properties to come up. How do I install it in 64 bit Vista, as opposed to just to getting it to run as an installed program?

Incredible! You just saved me from being suckered by software companies (who will remain nameless) that would have forced me to shell out $800 to get the newer versions of software that honestly works perfectly fine.

Nowhere on the Windows Compatibility page did they recommend this for ANY of the software I checked out. I swear they’re in collusion with the other software developers to make you buy new software.
