You know, instead of messing around with protected file settings, you can just navigate straight to the MCT folder. Just type it in to the address bar and hit enter.

C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT

Copy, paste, then just double-click .theme files. Done. Much simpler. Plus how many people are going to read this guide and skip the step resetting the protected file settings, potentially harming their computer down the line?

Ok,I ran down the tutorial until I came to this item=Browse to the path (Windows\Globalization\MCT).I have WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM preloaded on my Toshiba Satellite laptop. Windows\Globalization\MCT is not to be found. I searched Windows Explorer, Windows Desktop, and ever thing I could think of to search. It cannot be found, at least by me on my computer.

I believe he was refering to activating the themes inbuilt in windows 7 that don’t display outside your region, so Andy, he was not incorrect.

As the themes were hidden, and the post was to find them, unlocking fits.

Okay the title says “HOW TO UNLOCK” there is not one thing in this paragraph that states on how to unlock windows 7 themes… maybe who ever wrote this should have gotten more sleep and put the HOW TO in this paragraph
