My screen, and then computer turns off even when I am using it! It is very frustrating, especially since I keep my laptop plugged in and my power settings to “never” as well. I am very unhappy with all the windows “bugs” I am having with Windows 7. It’s no better than Vista.

Mine turns off randomly (not every 15 minutes) when it’s not idle…and seeing how I play mmos’, it’s frustrating when it turns off and I’m doing something with a group or in a raid of 10-25 people.

Any ideas?

P.S.- my power options are set to never dim the screen, never turn off the display and never put it to sleep.

Yes, I have the same problem. Your advice does not help, but thanks anyway. Glad to see that I am not the only one who noticed.

Hmmm you’ve a neat blog. Informative post. I am still on XP but may try Win7 in near future
