Thanks for the info! I had to find out the hosting company for a website that was stealing all my content. Contacted the company and they removed the offending material! This was the easiest way to find the hosting provider.

The service Who is hosting this gives the name of the data center of the host only and not the exact hosts name.

DNSstuff is a paid service but it works excellently.. I use Whois.sc for most of my Whois needs!

Ram & Shashank – Those are great tools also. I was looking for something that just gave me the hosting info as I am planning to shift hosts possibly.

Madhur – I definitely agree with you, this is better than whois.sc for looking up who hosts a website

That is a great tool but the best way to check out more is go to dnsstuff.com they have a wide range/variety of tools to choose from .

it is useful just you want to know who is hosting the website. I use whois.domaintools.com for this, it also gives whois info, title relevancy, SEO score etc, which is also useful sometime.
