Use FormSpring to create/make online forms for free

Need to create an online form for a marketing campaign, customer survey, online order, or user registration? Well, one way is to get a domain name, get hosting, create an HTML page, write code to process the form, and track it yourself! Or you can simply go online and create, host, and track forms using FormSpring.

Using FormSptring, you don’t have to know HTML or any other programming language, you can receive form submissions via RSS or Excel spreadsheet (and not clutter up your entire email box), rest assured that your data is confidential with 128-bit SSL encryption, and customize your forms with messages, redirects to a custom page, or even embed the form into your web site.

The nice thing about FormSpring is that it’s interface is completely AJAX-driven, so when you are creating a form, for example, you can simply drag and drop text boxes, buttons, etc right onto the page!

There are a host of other nice features such as the ability to password protect forms, integrate with PayPal for payment processing, ability to let users upload files (i.e. resumes for a job application), send confirmations to users after form submission, and the ability to sort reports by name, city, state, etc.

FormSpring has several pricing options to choose from: For free you get one form, up to 15 fields, 50 submissions saved to the database, and a custom message. Saved to the database just means the spreadsheet they keep on their systems, so after 50 submissions, the rest will come to your Inbox. So go ahead and try it out with the free account for an online job application, quick internal employee survey, etc  to see for yourself.
