New York cronometra il lettore

Tutti sappiamo l'industria di mezzi di stampa sta lottando nel corso di ultimi anni, in modo da è sempre interessante vedere i tentativi da alcune pubblicazioni di riguadagnare i lettori ed il reddito persi.

(Incidentalmente Vigilanza di morte del giornale è un blog grande per leggere se questo oggetto li interessasse - non è morboso quanto suona)

Tempi de New York sta generando una presenza di fotoricettore fin dal 1996 ed ha quello rimasto delle destinazioni di notizie in linea più popolari del mondo, comunque il problema più grande sta generando il reddito supplementare da quello pubblici.

La resistenza di tempi de New York' è stata sempre l'alto livello di segnalazione. Vivo a Perth, Australia ma il NYT è ancora i miei grazie di fonte di notizie del favorito alla qualità costante. Altretanti giornali provano ad effettuare le distribuzioni che del giornale ricorrono sempre più alle tattiche di stile del tabloid per afferrare le attenzioni del lettore.

Sicuri, ancora forniscono il rapporto discutibile occasionale, ma chi non?

Ho usato leggere dal Web site, ma era duro da ricordarsi di controllare indietro abbastanza spesso e vedendo come l'esposizione delle alimentazioni di RSS mette in evidenza soltanto ho deciso che era tempo di dare al lettore di tempi de New York un il collaudo.

Precedentemente a questo i tempi avevano giocato intorno con alcuni modelli di abbonamento per accesso alle parti del Web site, delle colonne e delle parole incrociate.

    Anyway, this is all pretty old news! The point of this article was my experience with using the application.

    The initial setup is fairly straightforward, you may need to update .NET but that’s all automatic. The slow part of the installation involves downloading content for the first time.

    This downloads a complete archive for the day, and takes forever (depending on your connection of course). Luckily after this first update synchronisation is automatic and incremental, updating just a few articles each time and is much quicker.

    The installation is also much faster then reports from a couple years ago, even though the reader itself has changed little design-wise since it was first launched. Speed, performance, synchronisation and cross-platform support have been the main focus’ in the updates.

    To be honest, I’m mainly interested in just a few sections of the paper, namely the ‘Technology’, ‘Science’, ‘World’ and a few others. ‘Fashion’ is just a waste of bandwidth for me and I often wish for a setting to filter what content we’d like to read, however apart from that its great.

    I’ve been trialing it for a few weeks now, when the 30 day trial period runs out I shall seriously consider wether or not I’m going to purchase the monthly subscription fee. It’s a compelling service and great value, I think it will be worth it.
