Twanton, I also had problems with the Mirage mirror driver. It would not install on my XP Pro x64 system with the 7300 card, and it wouldn’t uninstall using the uninstall feature either, but left me in a sort of never-never land. Every time I rebooted the computer, it would think I had new “hardware,” the Mirage driver, to install — which would always fail to install, and canceling or clicking the box to stop notifying me did nothing. This would happen every time I rebooted or restarted the computer. Uninstalling it the usual way from the control panel didn’t remove it. I had to uninstall the driver manually:

Go to “My Computer,” right click, then select “Manage”
Select “Device Manager” in the Computer Management window
Open “Display Adapters” (if it isn’t already open), then select the evil Mirage driver, right click on it and delete it.

Hope that fixes your problem

I installed with TipCam the suggested Mirage Mirror Driver,(despite warnings, but “it would be perfectly safe…”) now my screenresolution is locked to 800×600 with 32 colors and NVIDIA tells me “DEV Warning. You are using a downrev’d NVCpl.dll with nvCPlUI.exe” Can’t even load the NVIDIA control panel to fix the problem. Anybody a suggestion? I am using NVIDIA Geforce 7300 LE with Windows XP

This is an awesome tool; I have used Camtasia in the past for creating demos of new software products or member sites I am releasing, but this tool is so incredibly easy to use without sacraficing any features, that I am now using it over all others. Also, the ability to invite private viewings or publish publicly is very useful.

They give you 250 MBs for free, but they also offer a way to upload videos without using your own space. If you create a video and publish it publically (not just post it to your site) to the public area, it no longer counts against your space. You can upload and publish as much content as you like, you just don’t have the ability to edit or delete the content any longer. But if it’s a public video, who cares?

Bottom line is, this tool beats out all of it’s competitors on ease of use, features and costs (none)

Jay, I’m not sure. I think people end up liking it and might end up recording more than 250MB worth of videos. After that, I think you have to buy extra space.

I tried this. It was very easy to use and incredibly effective. Unlike other screen recording tools, it does not require post-recording video processing. As soon as you stop recording, you can view the recording or upload it right away. I can use it everyday. And all these are FREE? How do they make money?

Pretty cool tool for people who cant afford camtasia kind of software. If you have a good speed this can really work like charm for normal people. Extremly useful
