Make an HTML iPhone Email Signature the Easy Way

in iPhone’s email settings, there is an option to change the standard Sent from my iPhone signature stamp to anything desired…that is, any text desired. Creating a unique, colorful, graphical signature is virtually impossible from the standard settings interface. CoolGeex.com has made creating an HTML iPhone signature as easy as filling in a standard Web form.
Using either a computer or iPhone’s Safari browser, navigate to
http://www.coolgeex.com/iPhoneSign/
Once there, fill in the standard information asked by the form, like email address, name, phone number and address. Most of this information is optional, but the form requires you to give an email address. The title and company boxes have options to turn the font any color, and either bold or italic type.
Besides the standard text signature items, there is an option to upload or link to a logo. Small pictures work best, as there is no option to resize the picture once uploaded.
Beneath the logo choices are checkboxes to add or not add certain items, like email address, Web URL or the Facebook icons. These items will not show in the signature by default, so if you want them to show, check the appropriate box.
Finally, after entering all information, choose a Pin number. This number is needed to use the signature for the first time, so the form will not submit without it. Click Create Signature when finished.
A link then appears on the next screen. Using your iPhone’s browser, navigate to this custom link to retrieve your signature.
Once at the site, you are prompted for the pin you created at the end of the form. Entering the pin summons a blank email message, which displays your custom HTML signature.
To save it, select it and copy it, then go to the iPhone’s settings. Choose mail, contacts, calendars from the list, then click signature. Paste your HTML signature into the settings.
In our test, when we pasted the signature, the picture logo we chose did not transfer. As far as we can tell, to have full access to the signature, you will need to navigate to your custom URL to send each message, or forgo the picture all together. This is a little disappointing, but considering the other features, it is still worth a look.
