Playlists are quite possibly the best way to watch YouTube videos. You can line up everything you want to watch, press play and have an evening of free entertainment in front of your computer.

Of course, once you have taken the time to create a good list of videos, you should share it with your friends–it is simply the right thing to do. Sharing your favorite playlist with friends is super easy with YTPlaylist.

Add Tags and Links to Blog Photos

Posted on September 4, 2011 at 5:36 am

Photos add interest to any blog. Most people are attracted to visual images. However, while a picture is worth 1,000 words, it does not always tell the entire story.

ThingLink allows bloggers to add links and tags to any photo, which can help convey a more comprehensive view of what the photo is meant to portray. Plus, it adds a layer of interactivity to an otherwise static blog post.

Click the yellow Sign Up button at the top of ThingLink’s homepage to start using the service.

Set Default Android Apps

Posted on September 3, 2011 at 6:39 am

There are times when you go to open a link or RSS feed and there are several different applications to choose from when opening. Along with a pop-up window asking you to choose which application to use for a specific file type, there is a checkbox that allows you to set it as the default. Once set as the default, that specific file type won’t be played in any other application.

But if you downloaded a new app capable of reading RSS Feeds, you will need to change the Default application, otherwise clicking a feed will continue to open the previously selected application.

Splarchive adds an extra feature to the standard conversion. It converts documents, spreadsheets and presentations to PDFs, then stores them in the cloud for safe keeping.

Recently, I ran across a problem with my iPad 2 that I had not experienced before: not being able to connect to a wireless network! I’ve had my iPad 2 since it first came out and haven’t had a single issue with it yet! It’s the best gadget I have ever owned. Anyway, I setup a new wireless network in my house and I was trying to connect but kept getting the message:

Unable to join the network [network name]

Tablets and e-readers constantly try to simulate the reading experience of a printed book by making digital pages appear to flip when turned. So far, owners of these devices like the idea of digital-page turning, so much so that software developers are looking for ways to make other text-based materials into flippable pages.
