How to detect and bypass keyloggers
Posted on July 2, 2008 at 5:19 am
Looking for a way to bypass keylogger software on a computer? Recently, my Internet service providers began to have problems, and I was disconnected for about a day. So, to continue with my daily Internet duties, my only option was an internet cafe. However, there was just one problem - I was afraid the computer could have a keylogger installed!
Public computers are used by a large variety of people, some who have no idea what a keylogger is, and others, who can keylog the computers easily to gain access to passwords.

Paint.net - Free photo editing software

It would be a redundant statement to say that there is no shortage of image editing programs on the market. Adobe Photoshop, Ulead PhotoImpact, and the Corel Draw Graphics suite are a few of the paid programs. Then you have the free ones such as GIMP (Gnu Image Manipulation Program) and IrfanView readily available for downloading on the Internet. There are too many to name.

Postica - Online Post It Notes plus file sharing
Posted on July 1, 2008 at 5:19 am
Most of us will agree that Post-It notes or sticky notes are one of the most popular tool that ever graced the office environment, and at home too. We love post-it notes because of its simplicity - write a simple note and paste it on the wall for a quick reminder of a future task or to-do list.
While its usage is still relevant today, there are better alternatives to Post-It notes in this IT era. One free service that will give the original Post-It notes a run for its money is Postica.

How to determine hard disk space usage
Posted on June 30, 2008 at 5:31 am
Over a period of time we encounter insufficient disk space issues which might have been caused by poor preventive maintenance, low budget for a higher capacity disk (not all of us could afford a Terabyte of hard disk), or lack of discipline (we like to download everything and keep them forever even we don’t need them for future use!).

6 Windows tools you don’t need to replace
Posted on June 30, 2008 at 5:22 am
If, like me, you’re a bit of a download junkie it’s easy to get into the habit of replacing every bundled Windows application with a freeware alternative. With time however I’ve come to the conclusion that in many cases the benefits of doing this are negligible and it’s possibly more beneficial to reduce the number of third party software running on your computer.

How to resize images and pictures using Fotosizer
Posted on June 29, 2008 at 5:27 am
This post is especially for all those brave souls out there who are running Windows Vista, until recently I too was a pioneer of this brave new world of funky GUI and fatal flaws, I gave up last week and removed Vista from the last PC here in my home that had it installed.
Now, in the few months I ran Vista on my main work laptop (ASUS G2S), I discovered one really crazy omission from the system, namely a way to resize images easily. You can select an image in windows explorer, email it to yourself and resize it before it is sent, but lets face it, that’s a really long winded and stupid way of resizing a picture.
