Do you ever bother updating the programs installed on your computer? Keeping up to date with the latest versions of all the software installed on our PC’s is actually quite a pain. Most Linux and Mac OS X users do not have to worry about this problem as the operating system is smart enough to update other applications other than itself!

How to simulate "No to all" when copying in Windows XP

Ever had to copy a bunch of files from one location on your local hard drive to another place with a lot of files with the same name? Well there are really only two options that you have when there are files with the same name: either replace the destination files or leave the destination files as they are and only copy the new files.

By default, when you are copying files and there is a name conflict, Windows gives you the option to replace all of the destination files with the “Yes to All” button in the Confirm File Replace dialog box.

Collaborate in real time with EditGrid Online Spreadsheet

Spreadsheets are a great invention - I think everybody will agree with me on that statement. However, there are a few problems on how we work with a traditional spreadsheet application. One of them is that we can’t work and collaborate on the same spreadsheet at the same time.

This results in endless emailing of spreadsheets between peers to edit and finalize a complete spreadsheet, which wastes quite a lot of our time. EditGrid was created to change all that by offering an online spreadsheet solution that lets a group of people work on the same spreadsheet in real time .

How to make a favicon

Looking for a way to create a FavIcon? If you browse the web regularly, you’ve probably noticed that a lot of sites have a small icon that appears in front of the website address in your browser or bookmarks. Many websites use favicons (aka Favorite Icon) as a way to brand their website, so that when you see that icon, you automatically know which company or product it represents.

For example, take a look at your address bar right now and you’ll notice that to the left of URL is a small icon that looks like a grid:
