How to fix slow Outlook 2003-2007 loading dataset problem
Posted on April 4, 2008 at 5:22 am
Microsoft Outlook 2007 running super slow? Still loading dataset for you? I just love it when Microsoft tries to make their software better by adding a crapload of useless features to them! I have no idea why it would take 8 hours to load a single dataset! I don’t even know what the heck the dataset is supposed to be! We’re just talking email here right?
Unfortunately, making sense and talking about Micorsoft products at the same time is usually not possible, so you’ll just have to live with the fact that each newer version of Windows and Office is only going to slow your computer down eve more!

How to open multiple Google user accounts on one computer
Posted on April 3, 2008 at 5:47 am
Wish you could log into multiple Google or Gmail accounts at the same time? Lately, I’ve been sharing my computer with my wife at home and one problem I’ve consistently run into is the fact that both of us have Gmail accounts and we’re constantly logging each other out in order to check mail! This is very annoying!
So how can you setup your computer so you can log into multiple Google profiles at once? There are actually a couple of ways you can go about this, each having it’s own advantages and disadvantages. Note that I am not talking about logging into multiple email accounts at one time, like Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo mail, etc.

- How to add website shortcuts to the Windows Start Menu
Looking for a way to add program shortcuts to the Start Menu? Ever thought about adding website (URL) shortcuts to your Start Menu? It’s actually quite useful! I personally use Firefox for my browsing needs, but I still hate having to browse through my ridiculously long list of bookmarks just to open my email (yes I could just type in gmail, but I’m too lazy to type it)!

Clip2Net - Share files, folders and screenshots easily
Posted on April 2, 2008 at 5:09 am
Is there a file or folder that you want to quickly share with someone or with a couple of people? Maybe it’s too large to attach to an email or maybe you want to send an entire folder, but you don’t know how to zip it up? Or what if you need a screenshot or video capture of your desktop to send to colleagues?
Currently if you wanted to share a screenshot of an area on your desktop, you’d have to use a screen capture program like SnagIt and then save it to your computer locally and then either email it to everyone via attachment or upload it to some other file sharing service.
