If you’re one of the few that have jailbroken their iPhones or iPods and now want to go back to the original legal version of the Apple OS, then you can perform what is called a Restore.

Restoring your iPhone or iPod will erase everything on the device, including all music, videos, and apps. Before you perform a restore, make sure you backup your iPhone or iPod.

Oddly enough, I’ve been asked by many people recently how they can restore their computers to “factory settings”. Depending on how you look at it, factory settings can mean several things.

For me, factory settings means getting the computer back to the state when you first bought it. This includes the OS with all the third-party software they like to install with it.

How to arrange icons on the iPhone 3G/3GS

Posted on July 30, 2009 at 5:53 am

So I just bought an iPhone 3GS about a week ago and I love the thing! Of course, I’ve already downloaded a bunch of apps and one of the first things I learned was how to arrange the icons.

If you’re like me, you may have 5 browsers installed on your system! Currently, I have Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Opera! And in each browser, I have different settings, different bookmarks, different add-ons, etc, etc.

Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a program that could backup all of your browsers and all of their settings at once!?

FavBackup is a nifty little tool that provides a simple solution for backing up and restoring browser settings for several different browsers.
