Create a Google+ Business Page

Google’s social network, Google+, has been around for quite a while now. However, with the initial launching of +, Google basically offered personal accounts only. Recently, they have added a new division that will be more directed towards businesses and websites. Google+ for businesses is similar to Facebook in that you can create Pages, but like anything Google, it’s unique and efficient in it’s own way. In today’s post, we will be reviewing how to create a Google+ business Page.

Your Folder Can’t Be Shared Error Message in Windows 7

One of my clients recently ran into a problem where they could no longer share folders on their machine! They had created shared folders on the same machine many time before, but for some reason now got the following error:

You folder can’t be shared.

They would get this message when right-clicking on a folder and choosing Share with and then one of the share options like shown below.

Connect iPhone or iPad to Your TV

Previously, I’ve written about how to connect your laptop to your TV, which was very relevant a couple of years ago. However, with the proliferation of iPhones and iPads, a lot of people want to connect their Apple device to their HDTV instead of their bulky laptop.

In this post, I’ll go through the various methods to connect your iPad or iPhone to your TV. I’ll also mention the advantages of using one method over another. Basically, there are two ways to go about connecting your device to your TV: using cable or wirelessly. Depending on your setup, what equipment you already have, and how much you want to spend, both work equally well.

Windows 7 Wants to Format Your USB Drive, iPod, and SD Card?

So here’s a really annoying problem: you connect a USB drive, iPod or camera SD card to your PC and Windows tells you it needs to format it in order to use it properly! The only problem is that you didn’t have this problem two days ago and everything connected just fine! So what’s the issue?

Well, Windows is quirky and if some of the system files get corrupted somehow, you can end up with this really annoying problem of having to reformat all your USB drives and SD cards! Most of the time that’s not even an option and why would you considering plugging those devices into another system works just fine.

Check Web Pages for Duplicate Content

A few months ago, Google released a new algorithm known in the webmaster world as Panda. Overnight, websites that once had high rank in the Google search results virtually dropped off the face of the earth, leaving everyone to wonder why. One of the reasons for this dramatic shift is because Google’s new ranking method punishes websites that use duplicate content, or content found elsewhere on the Web.
