Going out of the office soon and want to set an ¡° Out of Office ¡± or ¡° Away ¡± message in Outlook? »ç¹«½Ç ¹ÛÀ¸·Î ³ª°¡¼­ °ð Outlook¿¡¼­ ¸Þ½ÃÁö "OfficeÀÇ"¶Ç´Â "ÀÚ¸® ºñ¿ò"À¸·Î ¼³Á¤ÇÏ·Á´Â ¾øÀ½? You would think it would be super easy, but unfortunately it¡¯s not! ´ç½ÅÀÌ »ý°¢ÇÏ´Â °ÍÀÌ ½±Áö, ½´ÆÛ ¿µ¿õÀÌ µÉ °ÍÀÌÁö¸¸, ºÒÇàÈ÷µµ ±×·¸Áö ¾Ê¾Æ! There are actually two ways of creating an out of office reply and it depends on whether your Outlook is stand-alone or using Microsoft Exchange. ½ÇÁ¦·Î ¸¸µå´Â µÎ °¡Áö ¹æ¹ýÀÌÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù »ç¹«½Ç ¹ÛÀÇ È¸½Å ¿©ºÎ - È¥ÀÚ ¶Ç´Â Microsoft Exchange¸¦ »ç¿ëÇÏ¿© Outlook ¼­ ÀÖ´ÂÁö¿¡ µû¶ó ´Þ¶óÁý´Ï´Ù.

If your are in a corporate environment and Outlook is connected to MS Exchange, then setting an out of office reply is very easy. ¾Æ¿ô·èÀº MS Exchange¿¡ ¿¬°áµÇ¾îÀÖ´Â °æ¿ì ±â¾÷ ȯ°æ¿¡ÀÖ´Â ´ÙÀ½, »ç¹«½Ç ȸ½Å Áß¿¡ ¼³Á¤Àº ¸Å¿ì °£´ÜÇÕ´Ï´Ù. Let¡¯s go through that method first and then we¡¯ll discuss how to do it if you are not using Exchange. ±× ¹æ¹ýÀº ´ÙÀ½ ¿ì¸®´Â Exchange¸¦ »ç¿ëÇÏÁö ¾Ê´Â °æ¿ì ¾î¶»°ÔÇØ¾ß ÇÒÁö¸¦ ¸ÕÀú ÀdzíÀ»ÇØ¾ß ÇÒ °Å¿¹¿ä ¶Õ°í °¡ÀÚ.

First go to Tools and click on Out of Office Assistant . µµ±¸ ¹× ºÎÀç Áß Ã³À½À¸·Î À̵¿À» Ŭ¸¯ÇÕ´Ï´Ù. Note that this should be there automatically in Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 when using Exchange. ÀÌ ¶§ ÀÚµ¿À¸·Î Outlook 2007Àº Outlook 2003°ú Exchange¸¦ »ç¿ëÇØ¾ßÇÕ´Ï´Ù.

Now click on the I am currently out of the office radio box and type in the message into the AutoReply box. Áö±Ý ÇöÀç ¹ÛÀÇ »ç¹«½Ç ¶óµð¿À »óÀÚ¸¦ Ŭ¸¯ÇÏ°í ¸Þ½ÃÁö¿¡¼­ ¿ÀÀü À¯ÇüÀÇ ÀÚµ¿ ȸ½Å »óÀÚ¿¡.

Go ahead and put the date you will be out till and also put in any contact info in case there is an emergency, etc. And that¡¯s really it! ¶ÇÇÑ ¾ðÁ¦±îÁö °¡¼­ ´ç½Å°ú ¿¬¶ôó Á¤º¸¿¡ »ç°Ç¿¡ ºñ»ó µîÀÔ´Ï´Ù ±×¸®°í Á¤¸» ±×°Ô ³ª¿Ã ¿¹Á¤ÀÌ´Ù ³Ö¾î ³¯Â¥¸¦ ³Ö¾ú¾î¿ä! If you click OK, everyone will get this message until you come back to this dialog and change it to I am currently in the office. ÀÌ ´ëÈ­ »óÀÚ·Î µ¹¾Æ ¿Ã ¶§±îÁö ³ª´Â ±×°ÍÀ» º¯È­ ¿ÀÀü ÇöÀç »ç¹«½Ç¿¡¼­ È®ÀÎÀ» ´©¸£¸é ¸ðµç »ç¶÷ÀÌ ¸Þ½ÃÁö¸¦ ¾òÀ» °ÍÀÌ´Ù.

You can also add rules to incoming messages while you are out of the office by clicking on Add Rule . µ¿¾È »ç¹«½Ç ¹ÛÀ» Ŭ¸¯ÇÏ¿© ±ÔÄ¢À» Ãß°¡ÇÏ´Â °æ¿ìµµ ¼ö½ÅµÇ´Â ¸Þ½ÃÁö¿¡ ±ÔÄ¢À» Ãß°¡ÇÒ ¼öÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. This is useful if you want to perform certain actions on emails coming from different people. À̸ÞÀÏÀ» ´Ù¸¥ »ç¶÷À¸·ÎºÎÅÍ ¿À´Â °æ¿ì¿¡ ƯÁ¤ ÀÛ¾÷À» ¼öÇàÇϰíÀÚ ÇÒ ¶§ À¯¿ëÇÕ´Ï´Ù. If you want an action to be performed for all incoming emails, select Sent Directly to me , otherwise click the From button and add in the contacts you want to apply the rules to. ´ç½ÅÀº ÇൿÇÏ·Á´Â °æ¿ì µé¾î¿À´Â ¸ðµç À̸ÞÀÏ¿¡ ´ëÇÑ º¸³½ ³»°Ô Á÷Á¢ ¼±ÅÃÇϰí, ¹öưÀ» Ŭ¸¯ÇÏ°í ´ç½Å¿¡°Ô º¸³½ ´Ù¸¥ ±ÔÄ¢ÀÌ Àû¿ëÇϰíÀÚÇÏ´Â °ø¿¬ Á¢ÃË¿¡ Ãß°¡ÇÒ ¼öÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù.

So this is great if you have Outlook with Exchange right, but what if you don¡¯t see this Out of Office Assistant option under Tools, then what? ´ç½ÅÀÌ ±×·¸´Ù¸éÀÌ À§´ëÇÑÀÇ OutlookÀº Exchange ÁÁ½À´Ï´Ù,ÇÏÁö¸¸ ¸¸¾à ´ç½ÅÀÌ µµ±¸¸¦ ¹Þ°í, ´ÙÀ½ Office ±æÀâÀÌ ¿É¼ÇÀÌ ¾øÀ½À» º¼ ¼ö ¾ø¾î ¹«¾ùÀ»? Well there is a way you can EMULATE the out of office assistant by creating a automatic reply rule along with a out of office template. ±×·³ ´ç½ÅÀÌ Office ±æÀâÀÌ ¿¡¹Ä·¹À̼ÇÇÒ ¼öÀÖ´Â ¹æ¹ýÀÌ ¹ÛÀÇ »ç¹«½Ç ¹ÛÀÇ ÅÛÇø´¿¡ µû¶ó ÀÚµ¿ ȸ½Å ±ÔÄ¢À» ÀÛ¼ºÇÏ¿©. Here¡¯s what you need to do¡¦ ¿©±â¿¡ ¹«¾ùÀ» ÇÒ Çʿ䰡 ...

Step 1: First create a new message in Outlook as if you are going to write someone an email. ·Î À̸ÞÀÏÀ» ´©±º°¡°¡ ¾µ ÀÏÀÌÀÖ´Ù¸é 1 ´Ü°è : ¸ÕÀú Outlook¿¡¼­ »õ ¸Þ½ÃÁö¸¦ ¸¸µì´Ï´Ù. Do no put anything in the TO or CC box. ¾Æ¹« °Íµµ¾ø´Â »ç¶÷ ¶Ç´Â ÂüÁ¶ »óÀÚ¿¡ ³Ö¾î ¸¶. Make sure to click on the Options tab and choose Plain Text . ¿É¼Ç ÅÇ¿¡¼­ È®ÀÎÀ» Ŭ¸¯ÇϽʽÿÀ ¹× ÀÏ¹Ý ÅØ½ºÆ®¸¦ ¼±ÅÃÇÕ´Ï´Ù.

Type in your away email message and put in a subject also. ±ÍÇÏÀÇ À̸ÞÀÏ ¸Þ½ÃÁö¸¦ ÀÔ·ÂÇϰí ÇÑ ÁÖÁ¦¿¡ Àú¸®µµÇÏ´Ù. Click on the Microsoft Office button and choose Save As . ´Â Microsoft Office ´ÜÃ߸¦ Ŭ¸¯Çϰí À̸§À¸·Î ÀúÀåÀ» ¼±ÅÃÇÕ´Ï´Ù. In the Save as type combo box, select Outlook Template . ÄÞº¸ »óÀÚÀÇ À¯ÇüÀ» ¼±ÅÃÇϰí OutlookÀ» ÅÛÇø´À¸·Î ÀúÀåÇÕ´Ï´Ù. Type a name such as Out Of Office Reply in the File Name box and click Save . »ç¹«½Ç ÀÀ´ä ÆÄÀÏ À̸§ »óÀÚ¿¡¼­ ¾øÀ½À» Ŭ¸¯°ú °°Àº À̸§À» ÀÔ·ÂÇϰí ÀúÀåÇÕ´Ï´Ù.

Step 2: Now all we need to do is create the rule and tell it to use the new email template we just created. 2 ´Ü°è : ÀÌÁ¦ ¿ì¸®°¡ÇØ¾ß ÇÒ ±ÔÄ¢À» ÀÛ¼ºÇÏ°í ¿ì¸®°¡ ¹æ±Ý ¸¸µç »õ·Î¿î À̸ÞÀÏÀ» »ç¿ëÇÏ·Á¸é ±×°ÍÀ» ¸»ÇÑ´Ù ÅÛÇø´ÀÔ´Ï´Ù. On the Tools menu, go to Rules and Alerts . µµ±¸ ¸Þ´º¿¡¼­ ±ÔÄ¢ ¹× ¾Ë¸²·Î À̵¿ÇÕ´Ï´Ù.

Click on New Rule under Email Rules to create a new Outlook rule. À̸ÞÀÏ ±ÔÄ¢À» ¾Æ·¡¿¡ »õ ±ÔÄ¢À» Ŭ¸¯ÇÏ¸é »õ Outlook ±ÔÄ¢À» ¸¸µì´Ï´Ù.

Under the section Start from a blank rule , go ahead and click on Check messages when they arrive and click Next. »õ ±ÔÄ¢À¸·Î ¼½¼ÇÀ» ½ÃÀÛ, ¾Æ·¡¸¦ Ŭ¸¯ÇÏ¿© °è¼ÓÇϰí È®ÀÎ ¸Þ½ÃÁö°¡ µµÂøÇßÀ» ¶§ ±×µéÇÏ°í ´ÙÀ½À» Ŭ¸¯ÇÕ´Ï´Ù.

Under Conditions , check the box that says ¡° Sent only to me ¡± and click Next. Á¶°Ç ÇÏ¿¡¼­, "º¸³½ ³ª È¥ÀÚ¸¸ÀÌ"À̶ó°í È®ÀζõÀ» ¼±ÅÃÇÏ°í ´ÙÀ½À» Ŭ¸¯ÇÕ´Ï´Ù.

Under Actions , check the box that says ¡° Reply using a specific template ¡± and then in the second text box at the bottom, click on the link that says a specific temp late. µ¿ÀÛ¿¡¼­ ¸»ÇÏ´Â "´äÀå ÅÛÇø´"´ÙÀ½ µÎ ¹øÂ° ÅØ½ºÆ® »óÀÚ ¾Æ·¡ÂÊ¿¡ÀÖ´Â ¸µÅ©¸¦ Ŭ¸¯¿¡¼­ ƯÁ¤ ¿Âµµ ´Ê¾ú´Ù°í ƯÁ¤ »ç¿ë È®ÀζõÀ» ¼±ÅÃÇϽʽÿÀ.

Now select the template that you had created earlier from the list of templates. Áö±ÝÀº ±× ÀÌÀüÀÇ ¸ñ·Ï¿¡¼­ ÅÛÇø´À» ¸¸µç ÅÛÇø´À» ¼±ÅÃÇÕ´Ï´Ù. If you do not see your template, click on the Look In combo box and choose Use Templates in File System . ¸¸¾à ´ç½ÅÀÌ ÄÞº¸ »óÀÚ¿¡¼­ ã´Â À§Ä¡¿¡ ±ÍÇÏÀÇ ÅÛÇø´À» Ŭ¸¯ÇÏ°í ÆÄÀÏ ½Ã½ºÅÛ¿¡¼­ »ç¿ëÇÒ ÅÛÇø´À» ¼±ÅÃÇÏÁö ¾Ê½À´Ï´Ù.

Click Open and then click Finish . ¿­±â¸¦ Ŭ¸¯ÇÏ°í ¸¶Ä§À» ´©¸¨´Ï´Ù. Now whenever you get a new email, an automatic response will be sent using your template. Áö±ÝÀº ¾ðÁ¦µçÁö ±ÍÇÏÀÇ ÅÛÇø´À» »ç¿ëÇÏ¿© ÀÚµ¿ ÀÀ´ä »õ À̸ÞÀÏÀÌ ¹ß¼ÛµË´Ï´Ù. Outlook remember who it sends the messages to and will only send it to once to each email address. OutlookÀº ±×°Í¿¡°Ô º¸³»´Â ¸Þ½ÃÁö¿Í °¢ À̸ÞÀÏ ÁÖ¼Ò¸¦ Çѹø¿¡ ±â¾ïÇÏ°í ±×°ÍÀ» º¸³¾ °ÍÀÌ´Ù.

To turn it off, you have to go back into Rules and Alerts and un-check the box next to the rule. ±×°ÍÀ» ÇØÁ¦ÇÏ·Á¸é, ´ç½ÅÀº ±ÔÄ¢ ¹× ¾Ë¸²À» Ãë¼Ò·Î µ¹¾Æ°¡°í ÀÖ¾î¿ä - ±ÔÄ¢ ¿·¿¡ÀÖ´Â »óÀÚ¸¦ È®ÀÎÇÕ´Ï´Ù.
