You can rename "filename.wps" to "filename.doc." It's very convenient to open a wps file!

It's not a joke! Just try it!

Thanks Adrian! I was able to follow your extra tip and open my WPS file. Whew! Once I did that, everything was good. Why do people still use WPS files!!!

i downloaded both converters for works 2000 and works 6-9 as i didn't know which works version was being used. After that i had to change the preferred program via "properties" on the WPS files to Word and only then would they open in Word - it does work. Thanks!

Save file to desktop then open with Word and it will then open the wps file or lead you to download the wps converter.

Hope this helps

I'm trying to open an ".wps" file in Outlook Express. I'm running XP Pro and Word 2003. There is no drop down list that says "open with" when right-clicked. What do I do please?
