My dear friend who has written this rubbish; please use open office 3 and then reply. I have used all versions of MS_Office and Open office 3. In my opinion open office is far more better that MS-Office. In open office you save files in different formats including pdf and formats compatible with M- Office.

I've installed OpenOffice 3.1 about 5 times in the last month. I just go to the preferences and change the file save type to Word (.doc) files and everybody get's along. I don't have a chance getting all my MS Office clients to download and install an import filter from Sun.
