Error in dectected file C;/users/users/appdata/Local/Microsoft/Outlook/outlook.pst It then tells me to look in inbox tools but I cant open it. How can I fix? Thanks

Thank you for your clear post and great visuals. Method 3 worked for me. An Itunes add-in appears to have caused the problem.

I don't get why Microsoft can't acknowledge that there may be more than one cause to the problem. Instead the Knowledge Base lists just one possible solution.

My problem is different, i was writing offline 'Internet explorer has incurred a problem" and the screen shut down. The net book is still on. I had to remove the battery to shut it down. Does anyone have any idea whats' going on other than the obvious. Net book is 8 month old.

Outlook experienced the problem after receiving a particular email. I used outlook/safe to keep outlook open and deleted the offending email. Many thanks for the tip.

Hola me gusto tu post, describire algunas cosas.

(windows xp, sp2 x64)
Ojala me puedas ayudar :-
