Once you link up one Powerpoint presentation to another, can you move the files around as long as they are in the same directories relative to each other?

For example, I have one main folder with a PPT file and several subfolders with more PPT files. Can I move the whole directory structure and the links will continue to work?

English translation - "This is fine, but the problem I run into is when I move Word, Excel or Powerpoint files to another computer, then the links are lost and I must redo all of the links again. This happened in Office 2003...???"

H,

Thanks for your contribution, however, I am having issues. The slide that I like to in another Powerpoint file has music and when I go to the next slide on my current presentation, the music continues to play! I'm not sure how to stop it! Can you lend me a hand?

Thank you!

You can also do this by pasting a slide as a hyperlink. Copy the slide that you want to link to, then go to the appropriate place in the other presentation. Under "Edit" choose "paste as hyperlink."
