If you convert your PDF file to images (like JPG) and save these images in a folder, then in PowerPoint use the Phot Album command from the Insert Tab. PowerPoint will allow you to navigate to the folder with the JPGs and each one becomes its own slide in PowerPoint. It does create a new slide at the beginning called "Photo Album by XYZ", but you can easily delete it.

Excellent information above however I have found a slightly quicker way.
Open the pdf you wish to insert. Go to the relevant page and select under the 'edit' tab 'Copy file to clipboard'

open the ppt file and select 'Paste', 'Paste special' Select 'picture (Enhanced Metafile)' and OK.

Shape to fit by dragging the corner as per above.

I've done all of the above - even splitting the pages and it works great, thanks for that - BUT - my file doesn't actually open unless you click on it. It just shows that its an adobe acrobat file but you can't actually see it.

Helpful but the next problem is how to insert multiple pdf files into Powerpoint in one go. I have about 30 pages and would like to be able to save time if possible.
