Blocks, arrows, pictures and other objects inside a page of a Powerpoint slide are hard to maintain if not grouped.  It is hard to move each object especially if their relative position needs to be maintained. ±×·ìÈµÇÁö ¾Ê´Â °æ¿ì ÆÄ¿ö Æ÷ÀÎÆ® ½½¶óÀ̵åÀÇ ÆäÀÌÁö ¾È¿¡ ºí·Ï, È»ìÇ¥, »çÁø ¹× ±âŸ °³Ã¼¸¦ À¯ÁöÇϱ⠾î·Æ´Ù. ±×°ÍÀº ƯÈ÷ ÀÚ½ÅÀÇ Ä£Ã´ ÀÚ¸®¸¦ À¯Áö °ü¸®ÇؾßÇÏ´Â °æ¿ì °¢ °³Ã¼¸¦ À̵¿Çϱâ´Â ¾î·Æ´Ù.

For example, you have two blocks and an arrow on a Powerpoint page, selecting the 3 objects will highlight them individually: ¿¹¸¦ µé¾î, ÆÄ¿ö ÆäÀÌÁö¿¡ °³º°ÀûÀ¸·Î ±×µéÀ» °Á¶ÇÒ ¿¹Á¤ 3 °³Ã¼¸¦ ¼±ÅÃÇÏ°í µÎ ºí·Ï È»ìÇ¥°¡ :

Ungrouped objects are easy to break during editing. Àüüº¸±â °³Ã¼¸¦ ÆíÁýÇÏ´Â µ¿¾È ÈÞ½Ä ½Ã°£µµ ½±½À´Ï´Ù. If I failed to select all 3 objects, the selected objects might get separated.  In the example below I selected only the second box so when I moved it it got separated from the other objects: ¸¸¾à ³»°¡ ¸ðµç 3 °³Ã¼¸¦ ¼±Åà ½ÇÆÐ, ¼±ÅÃµÈ °³Ã¼¸¦ ±¸ºÐ ¾òÀ» ¼öµµÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. ¾Æ·¡ ¿¹Á¦ Äڵ忡¼´Â ±×·¸°ÔÇÏ¸é ±×°ÍÀº ´Ù¸¥ °³Ã¼¿¡¼ Çì¾î Á³¾î¿ä ÀÌÁÖ ¹ø° »óÀÚ¸¸À» ¼±Åà :

If my intention was to move the whole thing, grouping the objects together is the right approach.  Compare the two flow charts below where in we have the ungrouped objects on the left while the grouped objects on the right: ¸¸¾à ³» Àǵµ´Â ¸ðµç °ÍÀ» À̵¿, ÇÔ²² ÀÖ´ø °³Ã¼¸¦ ±×·ìÈ ¿Ã¹Ù¸¥ Á¢±ÙÀÔ´Ï´Ù. ¾Æ·¡ÀÇ µÎ °¡Áö È帧À» ºñ±³ Â÷Æ® °³Ã¼°¡ ¾îµð¿¡ ¿ì¸®¿¡ ´ëÇÑ Àüüº¸±â ¿ÞÂÊÀº ¿À¸¥ÂÊ¿¡ÀÖ´Â ±×·ì °³Ã¼ :

You can see that the grouped object is highlighted as a single object while the ungrouped objects are individually selected.  Grouped objects are taken as one so moving a group does not separate the individual objects inside it. ´ç½ÅÀº ±× °³Ã¼¸¦ ±×·ìÈ ÇÑ °³Ã¼ °³Ã¼¸¦ °³º°ÀûÀ¸·Î ¼±ÅÃÇÑ ¹Ý¸é Àüüº¸±â·Î °Á¶µÇ´Â °ÍÀ» º¼ ¼öÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. ±×·ìÈ ÇÑ °³Ã¼ ¾È¿¡ÀÖ´Â °¢ °³Ã¼¸¦ º°µµ·Î ±×·¸°ÔÇÏÁö ¾Ê´Â ±×·ìÀ» À̵¿ÇÒ ¼öÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù.

To group a set of objects, choose the objects and then right click to open the Group menu.  Click Grouping then Group : ±×¸®°í ¸¶¿ì½º ¿À¸¥ÂÊ ´ÜÃß·Î °³Ã¼¸¦ ¼±ÅÃÇÑ ±×·ìÀÇ ¸Þ´º¸¦ ¿°í °³Ã¼ÀÇ ÁýÇÕ ±×·ì. Ŭ¸¯ÇÏ¿© ±×·ì ±×·ìÈ :

Once objects are grouped,  they will move as one.  You will still be able to edit the test inside a grouped text box: ÀÏ´Ü °³Ã¼¸¦ ±×·ìÈµÇ¾î, ±×µéÀÌ Çϳª·Î À̵¿ÇÕ´Ï´Ù. ³Í ¾ÆÁ÷µµ ±×·ìÈ ÅؽºÆ® »óÀÚ ¾È¿¡ÀÖ´Â Å×½ºÆ®¸¦ ÆíÁýÇÒ ¼öÀÖÀ» °ÍÀÌ´Ù :
