DOES ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW HOW TO EXPORT FROM OUTLOOK EXPRESS TO THE LIVE MAIL SYSTEM SO THAT ALL THE INFORMATION FROM OE GOES INTO SOME SORT OF USABLE FORM IN THE LIVE MAIL CONTACTS FOLDER?!!!!!!!!!!!

Please help, I’m having trouble exporting several peoples contacts into an excel file. We are trying to utilize the contacts from each project manager for holiday cards.

I have access to five people’s outlook contacts. I’ve been asked to create a 2009 Holiday folder and export all five people’s contacts. I can’t seem to do it. I can only get my contacts and one other. What am I doing wrong?

When I follow the instructions to export Outlook Express address book, it transfers to the Windows 7 operating system as an Excel file, and does not plug itself into the Contacts folder on Live Mail, so is virtually worthless. Is there a remedy? If so, how is it done? As an aside, why the hell didn’t MS provide a method that is easy to find and implement for this? The question will occur to thousands and thousands of MS 7 users!!

I tried to copy some contacts in outlook from one folder to onother, when copied, the new “Notes” field associated with new copied contact revised with the date of copy on top!! can i get rid of this updated date above the note each time i copy the contact.

Hi,

Does anyone know how to export just one category from outlook into excel or access? We are working on holiday cards. If it is not possible, can someone let me know so I don’t waste any more time searching. I have seen the same question a couple of times, but no answer.

Hi, I want to export all of my contacts from Outlook 2007 ( windows home vista) – to a pst (or excel) file, it keeps asking me for a password, have tried entering nothing and then entering something and it alwys ends up that the exported info won’t open and message says ‘read only or file is corrupted’. I have tried moving the contacts from the business contact manager to simply the contacts and friends section to see if that makes any different but it doesn’t. I did it once before from your instructions and now for some reason I can not export my contacts.

In Outlook 2007, the File menu does NOT have the option “Import/Export” available, hence I cannot export any data. I am signed in as a user with administrative priveledges.

Any ideas?

I have an e-mail address that I access through Outlook. I also have several e-maill address that I access though my ISP home page. Is there a way to export my address book or contacts from Outlook into my other e-mail accounts?
