Download Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, & PowerPoint 2007 training manuals for free

You can now download four Office 2007 product training manuals for free from Purdue University web site. In their ongoing efforts to switch over to Office 2007 from Office 2003, they have created four VERY useful guides for beginners and advanced users of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint 2007.

Each document also goes through the differences between Office 2003 and 2007 in detail.

The training manuals start off with explaining the new ribbon interface, how to navigate through ribbons, how to use the new logo button to complete tasks, how to customize the toolbars with your own commands, and describes the most useful shortcuts that you can use for each program.

If you’re just starting to learn Office 2007 and want to know the basics, this is a great set of documents. There are lots of images and diagrams, so it’s very easy to follow along. It’s also a great way to find the new features of Office 2007, rather than just using them in the same way as you have done before.

For example, if PowerPoint 2007, there is a new feature called the Research tool, which lets you access dictionaries, thesauruses, encyclopedia web sites, language translation sites, stock quotes all from within PowerPoint itself! That’s something pretty useful to know because other versions did not have all of these features.

    Give it a go again. I just tried it and it seems to be working! Maybe the moment you tried to download it, they had some server issues.

    Please post to my email account MS Office 2007 suite of Microsoft applications’ training or tutorial manuals. I have tried to get them for my staff to no avail. Most internet sites indicate that I have to buy. Please try and help the 3rd World countries to brigde the wide digital divide between them and the developed countries.
