Well, it may be SOP for many, but I had no clue about burning a start-up disk/iso file. I very much appreciate your help. I have had many macs since 1983 and system 10 is like learning another language. Your direction worked like a charm for me and I'm up and running again. I hope the commenter above learns to have compassion for all of the various levels of newbies that exist. On some levels, in some areas, we are all just geegaw newbies, even the writer of the comment above. Thanks again.

Hello good afternoon, wanted an explanation on how to burn a DMG image on a Mac to a disk. Is it the same way as for an ISO? Or do I have to convert anything? Thanks.

Yeah, this has been SOP since disk burners first shipped on the Mac. Have fun with the Mac, you will like it. Next, write us an article on how to click the mouse. ;-)
