So you want to get a raise and you think you deserve more than what you’re getting right now, correct? حتى انك تريد الحصول على اثارة وكنت تعتقد انك تستحق اكثر مما انت الآن الحصول على حق ، صحيح؟ Well good, just about everybody thinks that! جيد جيد ، وعلى وشك ان يفكر الجميع! And for those who don’t think that, well they will probably never get a raise! وبالنسبة للذين لا أعتقد ان ، بالاضافة الى انها سوف تحصل ابدا على الارجح رفع!

But if you do think that, it’s the first step to actually getting one! ولكن اذا كنت تعتقد ان تفعل ، إنها الخطوة الاولى للوصول الى الحقيقة واحدة! You need to have your mind working in that “I want a freakin raise” mode in order to actually accomplish anything! تحتاج ان يكون لديك عمل في عقلك ان "اريد freakin رفع" واسطة من اجل انجاز أي شيء فعلا! It’s like all these big self-help guru’s say, if you want to start doing anything (like selling something or meeting people), you need to start thinking you can do it and that you WILL do it. والأمر يشبه كل هذه الكبيرة العون الذاتي المعلم 'sالقول ، اذا اردتم ان تفعل شيئا ابدا (مثل بيع شيء او اجتماع الناس) ، انت بحاجة الى بدء التفكير يمكنك ان تفعل ذلك وانك لن تفعل ذلك. If you don’t think you can do it, then you never will and there is no point in you working! إذا كنت لا أعتقد أنه يمكنك القيام به ، فإنك سوف أبدأ وليس هناك اي نقطة في تعملون! Why work and never get more than you are getting now!! لماذا لم احصل على العمل واكثر من حصولك الآن! That’s stupid right??? هذا غباء الحق؟؟؟ So think that you can get a raise first!!! حتى اعتقد أن بامكانك الحصول على رفع أول!

Ok , so thinking is great, but that’s not going to do anything right??? طيب ، حتى التفكير في شيء عظيم ، ولكن هذا لن تفعل اي شيء الحق؟؟؟ Well it’ll give you the courage to talk the people that control your salary and present your side of the story in a well-planned and effective way. بالاضافة الى انها سأعطيك الشجاعه ليتحدث الناس ان التحكم الخاصة بك وهذا الراتب الى جانبكم من القصة في مخططة جيدا وبطريقة فعالة. And you have to prepare!! وعليك أن تعد! I’m totally with the bosses when some people just randomly walk into the boss’s and demand that they get paid more because they have been around for a long time or some other silly reason and the boss basically tells them that they are getting paid what they are worth to the company - sorry! انا تماما مع الرؤساء عند بعض الناس عشوائيا مجرد المشي الى بوس 'sالطلب وانهم يتقاضون اجورا اكثر لأنهم قد حول لفترة طويلة او بعض الدول الاخرى سبب سخيف وبوس اساسا يقول لهم انهم يزدادون المدفوعه ما هي قيمة لشركة -- عذرا!

So how to prepare!? فكيف أن تعد!؟ And what do you prepare? وماذا تعد؟ Prepare yourself for doing some work! تعد نفسك من أجل القيام ببعض الاعمال! Basically, you need to make yourself known…you cannot sit in front of your computer all day looking up cool new gadgets and checking out the latest server hacks because that’s not doing anything for the company! اساسا ، انت بحاجة الى تقديم نفسك المعروف… لا يمكنك ان تجلس أمام جهاز الكمبيوتر الخاص بك كل يوم اتطلع حتى تبرد الأدوات الجديدة والتحقق من أصل آخر خادم مأجورون لان ذلك لا تفعل شيئا لشركة! You need to do something that will improve a process that will lead directly to an increase in productivity or revenue. كنت بحاجة الى القيام باي شيء من شأنه ان يحسن عملية من شأنها ان تؤدي مباشرة الى زيادة في الانتاجية او الايرادات. The more of these things you do, the more important you become and the move leverage you have when it comes time to talk to the boss. اكثر من انك تفعل هذه الاشياء ، والاهم انك اصبحت تتحرك والنفوذ لديك عندما يحين وقت الحديث لبوس.

Try to think in terms of making money for the company…helping the bottom line. نحاول التفكير في جعل المال لشركة… مساعدة بيت القصيد. First determine what is your company’s bottom line? اولا تحديد ما هو شركتك بيت القصيد؟ What is it that if they stopped selling or producing or creating, would completely end our company? ما هو انه اذا توقفت بيع او انتاج او خلق ، من شأنه انهاء شركتنا؟ Once you figure that out, then you can start to think about how you can go about improving something. وبمجرد أن أصل الرقم ، ثم يمكنك البدء في التفكير في كيفية يمكنك ان تذهب نحو تحسين شيئا. You might ask, well with all the daily IT stuff that needs to be done (fixing user issues, programming, managing the network and security) where do I get the time to do these other things? انك قد تسأل ، وايضا مع جميع اليوميه ومن الأشياء التي يتعين القيام بها (تثبيت المستخدم القضايا ، والبرمجه ، وادارة الشبكه والأمن) من اين احصل على الوقت الكافي للقيام بهذه الاشياء الاخرى؟ Well, you need to present that to your boss also and show them in exact amounts how much money, time or effort could be saved if you were to implement your solution. حسنا ، أنت بحاجة الى ان يقدم الى رئيسك ايضا واظهارهم في المبالغ الدقيقة كم من المال والوقت أو الجهد يمكن انقاذها لو كنت لتنفيذ الحل الخاص بك.

For example, in my office once a product was complete, the production team would generate an invoice on paper with the client info, price, what was done etc, and then at the end of the day, they would take all of them to Accounting and ask them to send the invoice to the customer. على سبيل المثال ، في مكتبي مرة كان المنتج الكامل ، وفريق الانتاج من شأنه ان يولد فاتوره على الورق مع العملاء المعلومات ، السعر ، ما تم الخ ، وبعد ذلك في نهاية اليوم ، وانها سوف تتخذ كل منهم الى المحاسبه ونطلب منهم ارسال الفاتوره إلى العميل. Accounting would take the invoice, re-enter all the information from the paper into our Accounting program manually and then print everything out and give that to the mailing department. المحاسبه ستأخذ الفاتوره ، وأعد ادخال جميع المعلومات من ورقة في نظمنا المحاسبه البرنامج يدويا ثم واصل المطبوعه واعطاء كل شيء الى أن ادارة البريد. Now you can imagine all this work being done manually would cause lots of errors and you are right! الآن يمكنك ان تتخيل كل هذا العمل الذي تقوم به يدويا من شأنه أن يسبب الكثير من الاخطاء ، وانتم على حق! Sometimes production would forget to give the invoices to accounting and then there would be a backlog of invoices. أحيانا ننسى ان الانتاج من شأنه أن يعطي للمحاسبة والفواتير ثم سيكون هناك تراكم الفواتير. Accounting would enter the information into the system incorrectly and clients would complain about the billing. المحاسبه من شأنه أن يدخل في نظام المعلومات غير صحيحة والعلماء يشكون من الفواتير. The amount of wasted time and energy, plus the frustration for the client was stupendous!!! مقدار الوقت الضائع ، والطاقة ، بالاضافة الى الاحباط لعميل كان هائل! So we created a system that would allow production to enter the information electronically and it would automatically be transferred to the Accounting system and all Accounting had to do was press “Print”. حتى قمنا بانشاء نظام من شأنه ان يتيح انتاج لادخال المعلومات الكترونيا وتلقائيا سوف يتم تحويلها إلى نظام المحاسبه والمحاسبه قد لجميع يفعله هو الصحافة "المطبوعه". Now that saved time, money, energy and made our clients a lot happier! الآن بعد ان انقذت الوقت والمال والطاقة وجعل زبائننا أسعد كثيرا!

These small projects can pay off big, especially in a small company! هذه المشروعات الصغيرة تستطيع سداد قيمة كبيرة ، وخصوصا في شركة صغيرة! These things are hard to do in larger companies and can take months to years, but if you work in a small company (like I do), then you can get these solutions done from start to finish in a couple of weeks to a few months. هذه الأمور يصعب القيام به في الشركات الكبيرة ، ويمكن ان يتخذ اشهر الى سنة ، ولكن اذا كنت تعمل في شركة صغيرة (مثل افعل) ، ثم يمكنك الحصول على هذه الحلول القيام به من البداية الى النهاية في غضون اسبوعين لبضعة اشهر .

Other ideas to think about: افكار اخرى للتفكير :

1. Does your HR Department have tons of papers flying about trying to manage absentee forms, late punches, time off requests, new hire orientation, resumes, etc. Can you create a internal portal web site to manage all of this without the paper and give automatic responses to employees or applicants? هل ادارة الموارد البشريه قد اطنان من اوراق تحلق حول سعيها الى ادارة الغائب الاشكال ، في وقت متأخر اللكمات ، وتطلب من الوقت ، واستئجار التوجه الجديد ، يستأنف ، وما يمكن ان تقوم بانشاء موقع البوابه الداخلية لادارة كل هذا دون ان تعطي ورقة التلقائي الردود على الموظفين او المتقدمين؟

2. Does your company carry inventory, but not have a way to track it effectively? هل شركتك تنفيذ الجرد ، ولكن ليس لديها وسيلة لتتبع بشكل فعال؟ Do people know how much stuff is coming in, how much is already there, and when to re-order? هل الناس يعرفون كم هي الأشياء فى القادمة ، كم هو بالفعل هناك ، وعندما لاعادة النظام؟ You can easily get a open source solution or pay a small amount for inventory management software to reduce over-stocking or shortages. يمكنك بكل سهولة أن أحصل على المصدر المفتوح الحل او يدفعون مبلغ بسيط لإدارة المخزون برامج للحد من المغالاه في التخزين او النقص.

These are more generic, but your company will probably be doing something unique and that process will surely have it’s share of problems that can be improved. هذه هي اكثر عموميه ، ولكن من المحتمل شركتكم ان تفعل شيئا فريدا وتلك العملية سيكون له بالتأكيد انها حصة من المشاكل التي يمكن تحسينها.
