So this is fine, but what prevents someone from just going into Local Group Policy editor and removing all the options you set? Can you password protect or only allow one user to use GPEDIT?

What about on Windows 7 Home Premium – There doesn’t appear to be a GPEDIT.msc?

i went to start, search files and folders and typed in gpedit.msc it says it cannot be found. can you help me?

Thanks for the great article. Is there a program to record Internet browsing history? With this method, I think someone will be able to get around it.

Related question: for those who have no Administrative Rights, is there a browser to use that does not keep track of your history or a method to foil this disabling feature?

How do I do this if I have Vista Home Premium? It says that GPEDIT.MSC doesn’t exist.
