Your blogger image space is your Picasa web album space

As I was posting yesterday and uploaded some pictures, I noticed that Blogger suddenly was telling me how much space I have left on my account! It seems that the new feature has just been implemented and tells you exactly how much space is remaining in your account! Create a new post and when you click the Add Image button, you’ll see the amount listed at the bottom.

This space, though, includes your Picasa Web Albums (because my blogger photos are certainly not taking up 4.5GB worth of space!), so if you’re using the free space given by Google, you’ll have to share the 1GB between the two. Otherwise, you can buy extra storage that will get you about 6.25 GB for $25 a year, which is much higher than what Flickr gives!
I thought Google had loads and loads of space, don’t they want to store all data for the world? Well, not this way!
