Improve GMail by suggesting improvements

If you’re a big time user of Google’s GMail service to handle all of your email needs, then it’s pretty much certain that you would like it if a few things were tweaked or added that would make things a lot easier! Or maybe you wish GMail intergrated with some other program or maybe you want something removed completely! What it may be, Google is surveying people who use Google to give their feedback and ideas on what they would like to see in the coming versions of GMail.

The survey lists a slew of featues and services that could possibly be added to GMail only if enough people request them. You can choose up to five features that are the most important for you. The categories are broken down into Personalization, Organization, Integration with other Google Products, and Helpful Additions.

I really liked the idea of Colorful Background Skins to give GMail a little bit of a face lift in terms of looks! The white and blue is great, but after a while I need some color! I also liked the the idea of a Hiearchy of Label System, so that labels could be grouped together! And if you hate the label system, you can choose the option to change the label system to folders!

The Rich text signatures option is on my list of 5 features! For some reason, I just like signatures with a little bit of style and it’s always bothered me that you can’t do that in GMail!

I had a hard time choosing which products to integrate with though considering I would love if GMail could intergrate with everything! But definitely a tighter integration with Calendar would be very nice. And maybe also Picasa, though I’m not sure exactly what would be “integrated” there!

There is also an option to Export messages to CD for storage, which could be useful if you’re using GMail to store everything under the sun! And there is an option to block someone from sending you an email! Good way to get rid of some pesty damn people. Of course, the last option is the best: Have GMail to your laundry.
