Google has officially released a new blog for all things photo-related called the Google hat offiziell freigegeben, ein neues Blog für alle Dinge, Foto-genannt Official Google Photos Blog Offizielles Google-Blog Fotos ! According to it’s tag line, it’s going to contain news, tips, and tricks from the Picasa team at Google! Nach seiner Linie Tag, es geht um Nachrichten, Tipps und Tricks aus der Picasa-Team bei Google! That sounds exciting to me! Das klingt aufregend für mich!

I’m an avid user of Google’s Picasa Photos application and I really enjoy using Picasa Web Albums since the two products are so well integrated. Ich bin ein begeisterter Nutzer von Google Picasa-Anwendung "Fotos" und ich wirklich viel Spaß mit Picasa Web-Alben, da die beiden Produkte sind so gut integriert. I had thought about using Flickr at one point, but I didn’t like the face that there was no easy way to upload pictures from my computer and that I couldn’t browse the photos quickly and easily while offline. Personally, I think this is great because even though Picasa is a great desktop photo application, the Web Albums app has been quite neglected. Ich persönlich denke, das ist großartig, denn obwohl Picasa ist eine große Foto-Desktop-Anwendung, die Web-Alben app wurde ziemlich vernachlässigt. The interface definitely needs to be updated with some cool AJAX features and there needs to be a way to create nested albums! I currently have well over 300 albums and it takes an entire minute to load the My Photos page because ALL 300 albums are shown at once! Ich habe derzeit weit über 300 Alben, und es dauert eine ganze Minute zum Laden der Seite "Meine Fotos", weil ALLE 300 Alben sind auf einmal! That just seems silly to me. Das scheint nur dumm für mich.

It would also be cool if the community and sharing features of the web albums were updated. Es wäre auch cool, wenn die Gemeinschaft und die gemeinsame Nutzung von Funktionen des Web-Alben wurden aktualisiert. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if something new starts to happen with this great product that has so much potential! Ich denke, wir müssen abwarten und sehen, ob etwas Neues beginnt zu passieren, mit dieser großartigen Produkt, das so viel Potential!

    I guess I really like the desktop application and having the ability to view the photos on my computer easily when offline. Ich denke, ich mag die Desktop-Anwendung und haben die Fähigkeit, sich die Fotos auf meinem Computer leicht, wenn offline. Also in Picasa, you can easily see which pictures have been uploaded already, whereas with Flickr, once you upload a folder of pictures and add more pictures to that folder later, you’ll have to go to the web site and check which ones you already (at least I think). Auch in Picasa, können Sie leicht feststellen, welche Bilder hochgeladen wurden bereits, während mit Flickr, wenn Sie einen Ordner Upload von Bildern und noch mehr Bilder zu diesem Ordner später, müssen Sie gehen auf die Website und prüfen Sie, welche Bereits (zumindest glaube ich).
