I found a blog about this new service called Twitter, which is some kind of social networking site where you tell people what you are doing by posting through your cell phone, IM , or through the web. Ich fand ein Blog zu diesem neuen Service namens Twitter, das ist eine Art der sozialen Netzwerk-Website, wo Sie sagen, was Sie tun, indem sie über Ihr Handy, IM oder über das Web. Then if you’re a friend of the person, you get updates on that person the same way, through SMS , email, RSS , or IM ! Dann, wenn Sie ein Freund der Person, die Sie erhalten Updates auf die Person die gleiche Art und Weise, durch SMS, E-Mail, RSS oder IM! I found it because I saw that John Edwards uses it and thought it was kinda interesting to see a presidential candidate on a site called Twitter! Ich fand es, weil ich sah, dass John Edwards verwendet und dachte, es sei irgendwie interessant zu sehen, ein Präsidentschaftskandidat auf einer Website namens Twitter!

And now it’s gotten a little cooler because someone decided to write a mashup of Google Maps & Twitter called TwitterMap ! Und jetzt ist es ein bisschen kälter geworden, weil jemand beschlossen, schreiben mashup von Google Maps & Twitter TwitterMap genannt! A person sends in an update and their location is displayed on a Google map. Eine Person sendet in einem Update und ihre Lage wird auf einer Google-Karte. So not only would you know what they are doing, but you would know exactly where they are! So würden Sie nicht nur wissen, was sie tun, aber man möchte genau wissen, wo sie sind!

Also you can just search the map and see where other people are also and what they are up to. Auch können Sie einfach die Karte suchen und sehen, wo andere Menschen auch sind und was sie sind. So next time you have nothing to do, log on and you might just find a pretty single girl partying at a close by club, which until that moment you hadn’t planned on going to!
