Apple introduces iPod Touch, 6th gen iPod classic, and 3rd gen iPod Nano

Holy cow! Today’s quite a wild day for Apple! The number of new products and upgrades is mind-blowing: the brand new 8mm thick iPod Touch (which uses the same technology as the iPhone), an all new 6th generation iPod classic with increased battery life up to 40 hours, and a fat-looking newly designed iPod Nano with a 65% brighter screen, more battery life, and more storage space!

Looks like after Microsoft and Google, Apple is now trying to take over the world! And I think it really has a good chance if you’ve seen the new iTouch, which has a simply beautiful interface and is only 8mm thick! Not only that, it has Wi-Fi so you can browse the Internet via Safari browser and watch YouTube movies directly! You’ll be able to listen to music, watch videos and podcasts, flip through photos, and download iTunes music directly to the iTouch! And you can do it all with your fingers!

And to add on to the fun, Apple has joined up with Starbucks to allow you to access iTunes Music Store for free starting next month! It also has Cover Flow installed, a new piece of software that lets your browse your music by cover album artwork with your finger. The browser has Google and Yahoo search built-in so you can quickly find info. The iTouch will come in two models, an 8GB model for $299 and and 16GB model for $399! Enjoy!

And if you don’t want that, you can go ahead and buy a the new iPod classic, which comes in two flavors, an 80GB version for $249 and a 160Gb version for $349! You can get up to 30 hours and 40 hours playback, respectively on each device. Also, the iPod classic has a completely new interface using Cover Flow, the same application used in the iTouch. And finally, if you were sick of that cheap plastic look of the old iPods, you’ll be really happy to hear that the new iPod has a all-metal shell! It looks good!

Last, but not least, Apple has released a new iPod Nano that will sport a 2-inch 320×240 resolution screen, will be able to play videos, and will come with three games installed. The new Nano also will last much longer, apparently 24 audio of audio playback and 5 hours of video playback. It will come in two models, a 4GB for $149 and a 8GB for $199.

So if that’s not enough for you, then you really must hate Apple! The new lineup looks awesome and should be in stores by this weekend! Have fun!
