FaceBook is becoming bigger everyday and along with that is the list of applications being developed for it, including the new Yahoo Music Videos FaceBook application, which will allow FaceBook users to post videos to their profiles and also dedicate videos to their friends. You can even just watch music videos from your account if you feel like it. Now that’s just a really cool feature! Yahoo Music has tons and tons of videos to choose from and the applications integrate very well, so it’s very simple to use and will make FaceBook a lot more personalized.

To get started with Yahoo Music Videos, first you have to allow FaceBook permission to log into Yahoo Music Videos so that the two applications can share information.

Then you need to check off which information specifically you want to share. This includes whether you want the application to put a link in your profile, place a link in the left-hand navigation bar for easy access, place a link below the profile picture, etc. I’m guessing you can change these settings later on, so I left the default settings which had everything checked.

This application, I have to say, is really cool. They have tons of artists and thousands of videos to choose from. Go ahead and search for a video and once you find one you like, you can select it as your profile video by clicking Select This Video For My Profile right below the video player.

Now your video will show up directly under the Graffiti section and above The Wall.

Another cool feature is that not only can you create your own Favorties list, but you can also see all of your Friend’s Favorites too! So it’s a fun way to check out new videos off your friend’s lists. And it’s really easy to dedicate videos to friends also, just start typing the first few letters of a friends name and the text box will auto-list the closest names.

Finally, in good Yahoo style, you can dedicate a video to someone and keep it private, which is great if you want to dedicate some ridiculous song to a friend and not have them know you’re behind it! Overall, this is a really nice add-on to FaceBook that will be hugely popular. Enjoy!
