Win a free 1 GB Panasonic SD memory card today only

Lucky for my readers, today I will be giving away 15 1 GB Panasonic SD memory cards for free! It’s actually the first time I’ll be giving something away for free, but you can expect more giveaways in the future.

So why am I giving this away? Well, the nice folks over at Panasonic have started a new online community called Living in HD (LiHD) and to promote the site they sent me 15 SD cards to give away to my readers.

Before I tell you how you can win the SD card, let me tell you a little bit more about the community:

LiHD is a community for digital video, photography and HDTV enthusiasts seeking and sharing peer-to-peer knowledge to improve their digital life. LiHD is powered by people who have answers with those who have questions, and unlike sales people who tend to be biased, the LiHD community members are all about sharing and helping each other learn and grow.

So how can you win one of these? It’s easy! Just do all three things below:

1. Subscribe to the Online Tech Tips RSS feed if you haven’t already

2. Join the Living in HD community (it’s free and takes a minute)

3. Submit a comment on this post with the type of camera or camcorder you own and mention the username that you created at the LiHD site. Also, make sure to include your email address.

That’s it! After 24 hours, I will choose 15 people randomly from everyone who completed all three steps.

I will then email those 15 people notifying them that they have won the SD card! Send me back your mailing address and I’ll ship the cards out immediately.

The other cool thing is that when you join the LiHD community site, you will automatically be entered into their 30×30 campaign in which they are giving away one digital camera or camcorder every day for the next 30 days to members of the community.

So 15 people are definitely winning a SD card and everyone who joins the site will have a chance of winning a digital camera or camcorder also! Here are products they are giving away in the 30×30 campaign (which started May 1st):

    Hi! What a great thing to give away an SD card! I have 1 that I transfer from my Cannon Powershot to my Nikon CoolPix P90. I use one for school and the other for home. I have just started reading your blog. I love learning tips so I can take them to my classroom.
