I decided not to purchase from eBay for now until they sort out their Paypal problems. I won an item last Friday and couldn't pay for it. I contacted my credit card company and they said nothing's wrong with my account and I actually tested it by ordering a low-cost item from another e-commerce site. Paypal's CSR boilerplate response left me unsatisfied. And the funny this is that I was able to order 3 items from eBay using exactly the same credit card a few weeks ago. I hope they do get their act together soon.
