Wigix – An eBay Competitor

Finding a great deal on electronics, apparel, and jewelry through eBay can sometimes be a difficult process . Most of us are familiar with its entire bidding and auction system. However, bidding on your desired items can make you feel as though you’re on a roller coaster ride.

With all of the constant bickering and issues that eBay is experiencing lately, it looks like their outdated system is going downhill fast. There are lots of eBay alternatives popping up all over the Internet to take its place. Many current users are strongly considering other means of gaining access to affordable items without having to deal with unwanted fees or long bidding processes.

Wigix, which means WantItGotItExchange, is a new alternative to eBay that was recently launched. It easily provides a straightforward approach for users to get their hands on the products they choose. The first bonus of using this new service is that it will not charge sellers or buyers on items priced below $25. Not having to pay trivial fees on inexpensive products is a major improvement compared to eBay. The percentage of fees that Wigix charges are much easier to deal with.

The number one bonus feature of Wigix is the easy matching process. Sellers and buyers won’t have to wade through tons of multiple item listings just to find the one product they want. The entire filtering process has been tremendously reduced to give the buyer a more user friendly experience. Once a buyer has placed their bid for a particular item, the search results will be automatically filtered according to the inputted pricing and the desired product.

What makes Wigix work so well is the fact that it actually provides users with a more centralized resource. Instead of having to spend multiple hours searching for the perfect item at the best price, you can cut down this time drastically. The marketing concept that eBay has introduced to consumers was brilliant in theory, but it has gone horribly wrong over the years.

Although Wigix is still in beta mode, it looks very promising. They even have a way for users to earn a little extra money without selling anything. You can become a category expert and earn a few bucks by helping to expand their catalog.

Wigix makes it extremely easy to find what you are looking for without much work. Sellers do not need to have excellent sales skills and buyers do not have to go through long, winding bidding war with others. Just simply register for an account, browse available products, and start buying or selling. Users won’t have to worry about increasing fees and a flood of unwanted search results. Wigix is definitely a website that you’ll want to keep your eyes on.

I decided not to purchase from eBay for now until they sort out their Paypal problems. I won an item last Friday and couldn’t pay for it. I contacted my credit card company and they said nothing’s wrong with my account and I actually tested it by ordering a low-cost item from another e-commerce site. Paypal’s CSR boilerplate response left me unsatisfied. And the funny this is that I was able to order 3 items from eBay using exactly the same credit card a few weeks ago. I hope they do get their act together soon. It’d be a pity to see an internet company that survived the e-business fiasco go down because of complacency.
