Who’s more famous, Cruise or Damon?

Ahhh I found an interesting little game off of Google BlogoScoped that’s similar to AmIHotOrnot, but is a lot more fun for some reason! I guess looking at freaky or sexy random people just lost it’s charm after a point! You can only do that for so long!

And it gets boring because there really is no MAJOR differentiation between who we think are hot people and who we think are not so hot people; basically everyone can tell because we have some kind of in-built scoring system that pretty much likes perfect angles and symmerty (the Golden Ratio, remember?).

But what about a site where it’s all based on opinions and most people would staunchly differ on a comment like “Tom Cruise is way more famous than DeNiro!” Well that’s the point of Famousr.com! On the site, you get a pair of celebrities and you have to vote for which one is more famous. If you pick the more famous person according to the game, you get points and have to try and get the longest streak of correct “more” famous celebrities.

It’s quite addicting!! I’m 7 for 7 right now! The more people that play, the better the rankings for each celebrity will be. Initially, the person who created the site did a Google search to see how many results were returned for that celebrity in order to make one the “right” answer.

Now it might be easy to say that Christian Slater is more famous than Freddie Price Jr., but when you adjust the difficulty to Harder, that’s when the fun starts!
