The entire ScrnShots website is very easy to maneuver through and it’s well designed. Capturing images can be done with a few simple steps. The desktop application runs quietly behind the scenes and hides in your taskbar. You’ll hardly notice that it is there until you need it. Thanks for the post, this looks very interesting. I’ve been using mwsnap for my screenshot needs. But I like the idea of an easy upload. But sometimes I do need to keep the images local, can you save them local from the desktop app?

It is a great app, but even with the desktop version I wasn’t able to save my images locally. It just allowed me to upload images from my computer and take new scrnshots when necessary. Hopefully, that will change in the future.

It is quite similar to Snagit. But it enhance the web sharing function. If you would like to record screen to video to share with your friends, DemoCreator could be nice.
