Here’s a very cool new FaceBook gadget/application that lets you share and discover new FireFox add-ons directly through FaceBook. FireFox add-ons that you add to your Favorites list will appear in your profile and hence allow others to “rock” their FireFox.
To install the application, go to Rock Your Firefox and click the Add Application button at the top right. Once installed, you can immediately start browsing the 1,823 extension, themes, and plugins currently listed! You can sort them by Most Popular, Highest Rated, or by Category. One of the first extensions listed is Vista-Aero, which changes your theme to look like Vista’s new Aero interface.

There are also a couple of more features that will be appearing in the application soon, such as the ability to attach add-ons to wall posts and messages, so you can “rock” your friends more easily.
This is a cool little app because it can be used to store all of your favorite add-ons in one place, kind of like a backup. If you ever need to re-install FireFox (on a new computer or after a crash), you can go to your FaceBook account and install all of your add-ons directly from Facebook!
Of course, if you’re not reading this in FireFox right now, you might not be very interested in this, but FireFox is thousands of times more customizable than Internet Explorer, so check it out!
