Remote controlled piegon brains!

This article from Hacked Gadgets (though this is a hacked pigeon brain) describes how scientists from China have managed to implant micro electrodes into the brains of pigeons which allows them to “steer” the bird up or down and left or right! Apparently, the scientists send signals to the implants from a computer and the bird is forced to follow the commands.
The research will help the military possibly use these new forms of technology to spy on hard to reach targets or places where they could never get into without being seen. The Pentagon has already tried this experiment by trying to create remote controlled sharks! What the hell were they planning on doing, convincing the enemy to jump into the water and then have the sharks eat them!!!
I feel bad for the animals though! It reminds me of that movie Being John Malcovich where his brain gets taken over by these other dead people and he knows it’s happening, but can’t do anything about it! Scary thoughts!
