More April Fool’s Day Pranks for your dad, bro/sis, family or friends!

Update: Read at the very end for an update to this post!

Another prank you can play, which is a little bit more complicated, but IS WAY MORE FUN is if you have a web site of your own and email also, you can actually put anything you want into the From email address. I did this a long time ago when I was hosting a web site on HostGo, and I was able to log into the email control panel and write emails where I could put whatever I wanted into the From address….not sure if you can still do this, but if you can then do it! Here’s what I did…

My wife was in college at that time and she had borrowed a bunch of books from the library during exams…so I wrote an email pretending to come from library@college.edu which stated that she had taken books without permission and was now going to be charged a fine of $50. I was hoping she would call me and complain, but instead she was so mad she went straight to the library and gave them a good mouthful!!! HA HA HA! Boy was she mad when she found out!

I also sent my father an email from sales@bestbuy.com which was a confirmation for ordering $5000 dollars worth of electronics with a fake tracking # to our home address! I got a call about 30 minutes later with my dad hysterical about someone having stole his credit card and buying all kinds of stuff!!! ahahahhah Another good one!

The best joke was for my mother though, I wrote an email from the local Red Cross in New Orleans stating that the Red Cross was so thankful to my mother for having agreed to place a homeless person in her house for one month in which she would provide food, clothing and pay for everything for this random person. The person would arrive within two days and that she was a great soul for doing this! HA HA HA HA! The call I got from my mother was priceless!!! DEFINITELY try these out if you want to have some really fun pranks!

Update: I just found a web site that can help you play the April Fool’s day prank that I have mentioned below. Deadfake is a free and easy to use web site whereby you can send fake emails to anyone and you can make it appear to come from anyone you want! The only thing is that lots of people were abusing the system and so he put a little message at the bottom saying the email is fake, but you can simply add a bunch of blank lines at the bottom of your email so that the victim does not see it! Or put a footer of some sort that someone would usually not bother to look at.

The best part is that there is no signup or registration required, simply click the “Send fake mail” tab and write your fake email! You can even use rich text formatting such as colors, etc.

I just found this blog via Google, and wanted to update your readers that there is a website that does the same thing (send fake emails), except it doesn’t add any footer to the email, so your victim never has to find out the email was fake.

I would check out http://fakesend.com to send fake email pranks :)
