Hack your Windows Mobile or Palm phone to look and work like the iPhone

If you’re in the wait-to-buy crowd for the iPhone, but you really want that cool looking interface, then you might want to check out an article on Hacked.com that gives you step by step instructions on how to modify your Windows Mobile phone to emulate the iPhone.

This kind of mod is for those people who still have XP, but downloaded all the programs to make the OS look and feel like Vista! Sadly, I am one of those people too who just has to wait a few months before buying something “big”. This guide shows you how to modify a Windows Mobile device, but you can also do the same thing for a Palm, but he doesn’t explain that there.

This site apparently uses Flash and some scripts to get the desired “cool” effect. The beta version was just released on the 26th of June, but the new release will have the option to customize the icons and other aspects of the program!

There’s also an article on LifeHacker with a video included for an “easy” way and a “hard” way. Unfortunately, the “easy” way is not really even that easy, so be careful messing with your device unless you know what you are doing!
