Sometimes I run across interesting sites that are unique in what they try to do. Às vezes eu corro em toda sites interessantes que são únicos em que eles tentam fazer. One of those sites is Gender Analyzer, where you can type in the URL of a web site and it will try to determine if a man or a woman writes the blog. Um desses sites é Sexo Analyzer, onde você pode digitar o URL de um site na Internet e que tentará determinar se um homem ou uma mulher escreve o blog. Pretty interesting. Bastante interessante.
Apparently, it uses some kind of Artificial Intelligence algorithm to determine if a homepage is written by a male or a female. Aparentemente, ele usa algum tipo de Inteligência Artificial algoritmo para determinar se uma página é escrita por um homem ou uma mulher. It’s based on some technology that you can read about at uClassify.com, which hosts a text classifier for various purposes. É baseado em alguma tecnologia que você pode ler sobre a uClassify.com, que acolhe um classificador de texto para vários fins.
I tried it out on my site and it gave the correct answer that I am a male! Tentei fazer isso no meu site e ele deu a resposta correta que eu sou um macho! However, I find that it would be pretty easy to determine that considering the fact it’sa tech blog! No entanto, acho que seria muito fácil determinar que considerar o fato é uma tecnologia blog!

Hmmm…not a very intelligent algorithm! Hmmm ... não um algoritmo extremamente inteligente! Unless these women write more like men than women! A menos que essas mulheres como escrever mais homens que mulheres! Anyway, I tried in on some hard MOM blogs and it was able to at least get most of those as female writers! De qualquer forma, eu procurei em algumas duras MOM sobre blogs e ela foi capaz de obter, pelo menos, a maioria das pessoas do sexo feminino como escritores!
Try out your site or your favorite blogs and see if it determines your sex correctly or not. Tente executar o seu site ou de seus blogs favoritos e ver se ele determina o sexo corretamente ou não. I am guessing that as the uClassify site gets more information from its community of users, the better it will be able to determine the sex of a author.
