Try to change SMTP port to 587 if you can only receive email, but cannot send, from Outlook.

Odd. I am using Ypops on Outlook express 6. I can receive email from my yahoo account but am getting several errors when I send. The errors are below. I've followed the instructions and changed my Yahoo setting to Yahoo Asia. Any ideas?

The server does not support an SSL connection. Account: 'plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com', Server: 'plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '250 8BITMIME', Port: 587, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 250, Error Number: 0x800CCC7D

The connection to the server has failed. Account: '127.0.0.1', Server: '127.0.0.1', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

h3n7a1: Just tried it and there was no “POP & forwarding” option. Perhaps Yahoo closed this backdoor.

it's still working greatly tested on 28.april.2010.
- 1st go to Yahoo! Account info
- then scroll down and find "Account Setting",
- then click on "Set language, site, time zone", new page will opened
- on "Regional Site and Language:" select "Yahoo! Asia"
- click on [Save] and accept the Term & condition

Now, go to your yahoo!Mail..
- click on "options' and the option page will shown.
- now, you can see the "POP & forwarding" option
- click on it, and then click on "setup or edit POP & Forwarding" on the right..
- in the new page, enable the "Web & POP Access [POP Settings]", and click on [SAVE]

Your done..
you can now access your yahoo account by pop.mail.yahoo.com

After succeed the POP setting,
You can change the regional setting back to Yahoo!US or other regional as you like..
the POP setting will remain available..

Good luck...
