Windows SteadyState نوافذ steadystate is a new and free software application for Windows XP that allows non-IT Professionals to protect and secure shared computers quickly and easily. هو جديد والبرمجيات الحرة لتطبيق ويندوز اكس. بى ان تسمح غير مهنيي تكنولوجيا المعلومات لحمايه وتأمين الحواسيب المشتركة بسرعة وسهولة. This program is basically a stripped down easy to use version of Group Policy Management Console in Windows Server 2003. هذا البرنامج هو اساسا جردت اسفل سهلة الاستعمال نسخة من سياسة المجموعة حدة الادارة في ويندوز 2003 الخادم. Now you might be wondering why I am writing about it on a blog that’s supposed to be for the “common man”!? أنت الآن قد يكون التساؤل لماذا انا كتابة عنه علي بلوق الذي من المفترض ان يكون من اجل "الرجل العادي"!؟ Well, it’s because this program is not meant for IT Pro’s, it’s meant for regular people who need to control a few shared computers, such as at a library, Internet cafe, school, or in your home. حسنا انه بسبب هذا البرنامج لا يعني انها لالموالية لل، لأنه يعني العاديه الناس الذين هم في حاجة الى السيطرة على عدد قليل من الحواسيب المشتركة ، مثل في المكتبه ، ومقهى انترنت ، والمدرسة ، او في منزلك.

The program is very small (only 4MB), but it has a lot of features and it’s very simple to setup. البرنامج صغير جدا (4MB فقط) ، لكنه لا يملك الكثير من ميزات وانها في غاية البساطه الى الاعداد. This is a great program for anyone who has lots of kids and there is only one poor desktop that gets used by everyone for Internet, music, movies, games, work, etc. Eventually that computer gets a virus or a crap load of spyware and then the IT Pro has to be called (like me), who then charges you $100 to wipe out the whole system and reinstall it fresh! هذا هو برنامج كبير للمن لديه الكثير من أطفال وليس هناك سوى واحد الفقيره المكتب ان اعتادت من قبل الجميع لشبكة الانترنت ، والموسيقى ، والافلام ، والالعاب ، والعمل ، الخ في النهاية ان تحصل على فيروس الكومبيوتر أو فضلات من الحمل وسبيواري ثم انه الموالية له الى ان يطلق عليه (مثلي) ، ثم الذين الرسوم لكم 100 دولار من اجل القضاء على النظام برمته واعادة تثبيته ومن جديد! If you’re already in that state, this won’t help you! اذا كنت بالفعل في تلك الدولة ، وهذا لن تساعدك!

Otherwise, you can setup your new freshly configured desktop with Windows SteadyState and do the following things: place restrictions on an account by account basis (these include restricting access to Windows settings, controlling Internet access, protecting files and folders from being accessed, and removing items from Windows interface), schedule software updates, and use Windows Disk Protection to prevent any changes to the operating system. خلاف ذلك ، يمكنك اعداد حسابك الجديد طازجه وتهيئتها سطح المكتب مع نوافذ steadystate ويفعل شيء من الاشياء التالية : وضع قيود على سرد به حساب اساس (هذه تشمل تقييد الوصول الى اعدادات ويندوز ، والسيطرة على الوصول الى الانترنت ، وحمايه الملفات والمجلدات من الوصول ، وازالة البنود من واجهة ويندوز) ، والجدول الزمني تحديثات البرامج ، واستخدام ويندوز على القرص الحمايه لمنع ادخال اي تغييرات على نظام التشغيل.

Once the program is installed, you’ll get a help guide that will walk you through all of the settings that you can configure. وبمجرد تركيب البرنامج ، ستحصل على دليل المساعدة التي سوف المشي خلال لكم كل الاعدادات التي يمكنك. Here’s what the main screen of the program looks like: اليك ما الشاشه الرئيسية للبرنامج يشبه :

Clicking on Set Computer Restrictions will give you the options for restrictions that are to be placed for the entire computer, regardless of the user account. Schedule Software Updates is basically the Automatic Updates console from the Control Panel: you can schedule a time for updates and also choose which security programs you would want updated if you have Anti-Virus installed. النقر على مجموعة الحاسوب القيود سوف يتيح لك خيارات لالقيود التي توضع لكامل الحاسوب ، بغض النظر عن حساب المستخدم. الجدول تحديثات البرامج هي اساسا التحديثات التلقاءيه console من لوحة التحكم : يمكنك جدول زمني لوالتحديثات أيضا اختيار برامج الأمن الذي كنت تريد تحديث اذا كنت قد ركبت المضاده للفيروسات.

The main features, however, are the things you can do with user accounts. الملامح الرئيسية ، ولكن ، هي الاشياء يمكنك القيام به مع حسابات المستخدمين. First, you would want to click Add a New User to create a new shared user profile. اولا ، انت تريد ان انقر فوق اضافة مستخدم جديد الى انشاء لجنة جديدة مشتركة بروفايل المستخدم. For the User Location , choose the C drive unless you have Windows Disk Protection on. لمكان المستخدم ، واختيار قيادة ج اذا لم يكن لديك ويندوز على القرص الحمايه. Now that you have a new user, you can click their name in the User Settings box and configure all of the restrictions! بعد ان قمت مستخدم جديد ، يمكنك النقر على اسم المستخدم في المربع اعدادات وتكوين كل من القيود! And there’sa lot of them! وهنالك الكثير منها!

The General Settings allow you to lock the profile, so that if the user makes changes to the desktop, start menu, etc, those changes will not be saved once the user logs off. العام اعدادات تسمح لك لوك صورة ، بحيث اذا قام المستخدم يجعل التغييرات على سطح المكتب ، قائمة ابدا ، الخ ، وهذه التغييرات لن يتم حفظ بمجرد ان يقوم المستخدم من جذوع الاشجار. You can also set a timer for an idle or in-use session, so that the computer will log off after a specified number of minutes. يمكنك ايضا تعيين جهاز توقيت لالراكد او في استخدام دوره ، حتى ان الكمبيوتر سوف أدخل حالا بعد عدد محدد من الدقائق.

But it only gets fun once you get to Windows Restrictions! لكنها لا تحصل الا مرة واحدة متعة تحصل على ويندوز قيود! Here you can either choose a template setting of High, Medium, Low or No restrictions or you can manually check and uncheck the features you desire. هنا يمكنك ان تختار اما وضع قالب عالية ، متوسطة ، منخفضه او انه لا توجد اية قيود او يمكنك يدويا وتأكد من الغاء تحديد السمات التي تريدها. They are broken down into Start Menu and General Restrictions. وهي تنقسم الى قائمة أبدا والقيود العامة. I would suggest just picking one of the templates and seeing how it works on your own. اود ان اقترح مجرد التقاط واحد من النماذج ، ورؤية كيف تعمل بنفسك. You can also hide certain drives from the user also! يمكنك ايضا اخفاء بعض محركات الاقراص من المستخدمين ايضا!

Next up are the Feature restrictions, which include Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office. القادم تصل هي سمة القيود ، والتي تشمل انترنت اكسبلورر ومايكروسوفت اوفيس. Here is where you can block all sites on the Internet, except the few that you want your child to view. هنا حيث يمكنك منع جميع المواقع على شبكة الانترنت ، باستثناء القله التي تريد طفلك الى رأي. Again, you can choose a template from the left side. مرة اخرى ، يمكنك اختيار قالب من الجهة اليسرى. If you’re not sure what these options mean, go ahead and set them and then use the account yourself to test whether it stops you from doing something you would want that user to be able to do. اذا كنت غير متأكد من هذه الخيارات ما يعني اتفضل ومجموعة منهم وثم استخدم حساب نفسك لاختبار ما اذا كان توقف هو انك كنت تفعل شيئا من شأنه ان المستخدم يريد ان تكون قادرة على ان تفعل.

And lastly, you can block programs that you don’t want that user to be able to run. واخيرا ، يمكنك منع البرامج التي لا تريد ان يكون المستخدم ليتمكن من الفرار. The nice thing is that you get a list of every program installed on your computer on the left and you simply have to choose it and add it to the box on the right to block it! نيس شيء هو ان تحصل على قائمة كل برنامج على جهازك على اليسار وأنت بكل بساطة ان نختار انها واضافتها الى مربع على الحق في الكتلة! So if you don’t want someone to run Yahoo Messenger or open up TurboTax and view your tax info, add it to the right! حتى اذا كنت لا تريد شخص لتشغيل ياهو رسول او فتح turbotax وبالنظر الى المعلومات الضريبيه الخاصة بك ، واضافتها الى الحق!

Also, I forgot to mention what Windows Disk Protection does! ايضا ، لقد نسيت أن أذكر ما ويندوز القرص الحمايه لا! If you turn that on, it will basically protect your Windows systems files from being changed. اذا كنت بدوره على ذلك ، فانه سيكون اساسا حمايه نظم ويندوز الخاص بك من الملفات التي يجري تغييرها. That means, let’s say you turn it on and install 10 programs, then once you restart the computer, the computer will revert back to the state it was in when you first turned the protection on, which means all those programs are gone. وهذا يعني ، دعنا نقول لكم بدوره على 10 وتثبيت البرامج ، ثم بمجرد ان تقوم باعادة تشغيل جهاز الكمبيوتر ، الحاسب الالي وستعود العودة الى الحاله التي كانت عليها عندما كنت أول حولت على حمايه ، الامر الذي يعني جميع هذه البرامج هي ذهبت. This is only useful if you want to protect a computer from viruses and spyware or you do not want anything changed after a certain configuration (useful for libraries or schools). هذا هو مفيد فقط اذا كنت تريد حمايه الحاسوب من الفيروسات والتجسس او انك لا تريد ان تغير شيء بعد تشكيل معين (او مفيدة للمكتبات المدارس).

So that’s Windows SteadyState! حتى ان نوافذ steadystate! A free and very cool program that you can use to help prevent your computer from becoming a piece of junk! حر ورائع جدا البرنامج يمكنك استخدامها للمساعدة على منع جهازك من ان تصبح قطعة من الزباله!  I can attest that placing restrictions on computers is the BEST way to avoid spyware, viruses or just a slow computer. وبوسعي ان اشهد على ان فرض قيود على الحواسيب هي أفضل طريقة لتجنب التجسس ، والفيروسات او مجرد بطء الحاسوب. It’s used in just about every office of large organizations, but has always been too complicated to use for regular folks at smaller places. انها تستخدم في كل مكتب تقريبا من المنظمات الكبيرة ، ولكن كانت دائما معقدة جدا لاستخدام العاديه للناس في اماكن اصغر.

    Im sorry if this seems like a silly question, but if i do want the Protection on, where do i save the new user profile to? ايم عذرا اذا كان هذا يبدو وكأنه سؤال سخيف ، ولكن اذا اريد حمايه علي ، حيث اقوم انقاذ لمحة مستخدم جديد؟

    Hi Ryan, good question, it’s not silly at all. مرحبا ريان ، سؤال جيد ، وانها ليست سخيفه على الاطلاق. If you have the Disk Protection feature on, this means that Windows will not allow any changes to the system files on the C drive, so you should create the new user profiles on a separate partition, such as D, E, etc. اذا كان لديك على القرص على ميزة الحمايه ، وهذا يعني ان ويندوز لن تسمح بأي تغييرات تطرأ على نظام الملفات على محرك الأقراص ج ، لذلك يجب عليك انشاء مستخدم جديد لمحات على قسم منفصل ، مثل د ، ه ، الخ.

    Now if you only have one local drive, C, that’s also ok, simply create a new folder at the root of your C drive called Users or something similar and create the accounts there. الان اذا كنت قد واحد فقط حملة محلية ، ج ، كما ان للطيب ، يكفي ان تنشئ مجلد جديد في جذور الخاص بك ج حملة دعا المستخدمين او شيئا من هذا القبيل وتهيئة الحسابات هناك.
